It was fun, but not for a first timer. The instructions tell you how to make the dog, but not how to actually felt. I had to look up a youtube video. Also, I had no idea how much felt I was supposed to use for everything so there was a a lot of winging. And as far as blending felt colors? Yeah that didn't work out. Guess it's back to youtube. I did like the dogs though and appreciated the finger protection. One last thing, the, noses it comes with look nothing like the cute ones in the picture, but are just little plastic ovals.

Great kit and materials. Instructions are clear but if you are completely new to needle felting you may want to look at extra instructions either from Artec360's videos or a full book. All in all though an excellent first kit.

It’s a great starter kit. Was just disappointed it didn’t come with the actual fawn color. It was just a dark brown.

Really quick easy make. I take felting kits travelling with me as they have everything that you need. These have a proper high density foam block (some kits provide packing extruded foam, which flattens and breaks up), decent enough felting needles (the kit doesn't say which guage, but they are a good all-rounder), and plenty of wool. The only suggestion I would make is that you read the I structiond from beginning to end before starting, as you will need to keep some wool back for legs failed etc and that isn't made clear in the instruction.

The felting fabric is a bit cheap, but it contains everything needed to fill some space on a slow weeknight. Directions are a bit difficult to follow; thank goodness for the illustrations!

This was my very first felting kit and so far it's great.. I've only done the cute Pug so far and it took around 3 hours.. I recommend watching a video first to get the basic idea as the instructions are a little confusing in places.. seems to be enough wool for all the dogs.. everything was well packaged and as described.. i will use this company again :D
