Miss leading. A regular water bottle does not work. This product is worthless.

I used these watering devices while away on vacation. Of the 12 only 2 worked, the others either did not drip at all or dispensed all the water at once. The valve was not controllable.

I am optimistic that this will work as promised, but I need to find a bottle that fits. I have tried 3 different types of bottled water, but they make them smaller today. I think that I need to buy a 16 oz soda or larger water bottle, in order to have a top that will fit into the watering spike.I will update this once I find a bottle that fits, and I will try to share that information with you all.Update: the size of the bottle neck is important, a smart water bottle opening is the right size, but the bottles are pretty heavy and can tip easily. Also, make sure that you poke a hole in the bottom of the bottle to let air in or it won't drip correctly.

This item is junk. It leaks all over the the place. I hurt my hand trying to tightened to close it, still it leaks. I tried to return it and no matter what your reason they wanted to replace it. I don't want it replaced. I want my money back. It doesn't work. But they won't issue a return code. This is not what the Amazon I signed up with. Never had any problem with returning items at Amazon until today.

Nice idea, but under the weight of the water bottle, the spike sinks too deeply into the soil, and the spout gets blocked by the soil. It's possible to make it work, but it's fiddly and unstable. I prefer the terracotta type.
