I love these canvas and paint on them weekly. I order them on both Amazon and the actual Arteza Site. I have had no problems with warping even with storage in a tote. I do wrap them in parchment paper and store in my house. When you paint on a smaller (5x7) cotton canvas you will have texture and a coat of gesso helps but isn't necessary. Sometimes there are little marks in the corners that are probably from machine packaging. Gesso helps with these also. I did try linen 5 x 7 canvases but the are quite expensive and while better did not really seem needed with my simple whimsical subjects. Great canvases. I will keep buying.

Purchased for a summer class and I needed exactly 14 canvas boards of this size (9x12). I was super happy to find this pack because I was worried about the total being overpriced if I couldn’t find them in a pack. This pack was well priced and definitely worth it. They arrived individually wrapped and then wrapped again with the Arteza info and in a box their size. So far I love them, and I’m not the biggest fan of canvas board. These work perfectly for what I need and work well for me gessoed. They’re sturdy and have a nice texture to them. Everything I’ve bought from Arteza in the past has been great and these are too! I’d buy canvases from them again.

I really like them. I've been using them to do watercolor pencil and inktens water color pencil on. They have stood up to the water flooding needed to do my backgrounds without turning to mush. Excellent price too. I'll be ordering more in different sizes.

Very good value for money. They are useful for acrylic oil and water colour. Made from cotton fibres make is easier to paint professional or less. They can be used for rough practice. There's also a 5% to 10% off if you subscribe to the promotions offered. The canvases have a board making it easier to paint. Good product for beginners and intermediates even the most adept can use these canvases. I will admit, they looked bigger when I ordered them but it is still a great canvas and will be useful for my needs so I'm still happy with this product.

Working on my watercolor skills. This size is perfect for this. I like working on the texture of canvas. The board makes it so durable, I have been able to rinse them off, though some pigment remains I can essentially start over. The durability is also great for layering of acrylics and multimedia works, as well as oils and pastels. With a bulk pack of 14, that's less than 2.50 each.I've ordered twice now and will again.

These canvases came in a timely manner in an outer box for extra protection, even though they were already in a box to begin with. They were wrapped well and in perfect condition and the 13 year old gift recipient was pleased with them so I'm happy... and relieved. (I've had some bad experiences lately with receiving low quality junk from other Amazon sellers lately, so I am happy to have received a product that was nice this time around!) I think it was a good deal for the money and I would order them again.

There are pros and cons to these canvas boards...PROS: They are very affordable. They are individually wrapped so they stay clean. They are pretty consistent in sizing.CONS: They warp when completely painted. They have a hideous label on the back of every board. They cannot handle being scrubbed for reuse (the canvas actually pulls off the board).That being said, these are pretty great for crafters, children’s art, beginners or practicing new techniques. I’m happy enough with this purchase and probably would buy again.

I love these for my beginners! I have an art studio, and I offer free classes to children with emotional challenges that do not do well in traditional therapy. I needed a cost effective means to provide canvas type art exercises, and these boards helped provide that at a fraction of the price of traditional canvases. They cure well and when gessoed, handle a large volume of paint well. However, if not primed properly, they will buckle with alit of moisture. I don't think they work well with any type of pour painting, and a couple of times, the canvas lifted from the cardboard backing as the paintings cured. Definitely not a good fit for watercolours. Nice, simple, fairly sturdy for multimedia work, mind they aren't overly wetted or worked. Slim thickness, and perfect for framing.

To answer your question, No, these will not instantly make your oil painting of fat Elvis eating a Reese's peanut butter cup in the nude any less traumatizing tot he viewers, but, they will make it easier on you to create such a crime against humanity, and then display it for a decently extended period of time. Is it better for longevity than stretching your own canvas, no, but for something quick, easy, go for it. They are great for students, kids, practice, or even masterpieces that in the future museum conservationists will despise you for.So if you are cool that in 400 years when you are long dead and gone the glue binding the canvas to the cardboard may fail or said cardboard may deteriorate, Go for it. Grandma will still love your painting, and so will your therapist.

This is exactly as shown and exactly what I expected. I like that there is a decent number in the package and the quality is good. I got these to practice painting a design I want to use on a tabletop. It is an expensive table so I didn't want to use regular paper. I wanted to color it exactly how I will make the design on the table. I am going to be able to use the practice drawings that come out nice as wall hangings because these little canvases will be cute framed. The tight-shrink packaging is a bit annoying to open, but I prefer that to wasteful-excessive packaging. It gets a five because there is nothing wrong with the product.
