I needed to baby proof my grand piano cover and it works just fine. It won’t close all the way to the end though, so the cover will be left slightly open which doesn’t look so good. The sliding doesn’t start right away, very stiff at the beginning and then it’ll slowly slides down. Works for my needs in general.

We have a piano with a very heavy, solid wood key lid. We have a small child and were worried about potential injuries. This was easy to install and works great! Only one in the package and thats all you need.

This thing is WAY to tight and too tall. It will not let your fall board close all the way, should come with an anti-slip bottom, and when it finally closes - you could have played a full song before it catches your fingers. Definitely do not recommend.

Somehow I assumed that I would get two in the pack so that I could put one on either side of the fallboard. However, just one is strong enough to be used on one side only.I was also a bit confused what the purpose of the included metal plate was. I ended up sticking that under the fallboard but I don't think it would have made a difference if I left that off. It would have been good if there were instructions included that explained what that piece was and in what situations it should be used or not used.

I love this product as I have quite the heavy fallboard and a very mischievous 2-year old boy. It was really easy to set-up and works as advertised. I highly recommend this if you are debating this product.
