Was a spoof Xmas gift. The images made it look like a large russet potato, but it was more the size of a small on. About the size of my hand (I have small hands). Did the job though.

Super cute and real looking.We had random game of what we call "hott potato" started with a real potato but a well hidden real potato can't be good for long, haha. So this was the perfect solution, and now the kids can play the game without me worrying how long it stays hidden!The first one did not arrive from usps, and the seller was quick to help and get a new one in the mail!! Excellent customer service!!And it kinda brings me joy knowing that if it was stolen off the porch it wasnt something that was expected.I hope the theif gets much joy from that first potato!! ha ha ha!!

I came for the polyfoam potato and stayed for the reviews. I too found myself at a stage of my life where I was in need of a single, artificial russet potato, for the sole purpose of granting good ol’ GLaDOS/PotatOS a permanent display in my home. Ah, what a time to be alive!The potato runs a teensy bit small, but it’s still a spud I’d get behind with a 5-star review. Keep this potato seller in business, people!

I never thought I'd wind up at a place in my life where I needed a potato onhand for photographs, but here I am. First I just tried using potatoes we already had, but we didn't always have potatoes lying around. So I bought a potato, and it worked great. The first few times. But then I forgot about it, and by the time I needed it again it had grown soft and viney. No good. THIS potato, though, is forever young. Pristine. Perfect. Potato. Also super lightweight, so you can easily poke a needle into it and suspend it from a thread in a softbox, if you're into that sort of thing.

It's ok, but looks much more artificial than pictured. The product I received looks more similar to the other fake potatoes sold on Amazon. Somewhat of a let-down.I needed a convincing potato & this didn't deliver the spuds. Look elsewhere for your fake potato needs.

So, like many of the other reviewers I'm sure, I bought this for my Portal cosplay. I purchased the GLaDOS potato kit from Think Geek and wanted a way to carry it around without having to actually, you know, get a real tater and do it that way. So I found this. I still haven't bothered to connect the wires together through the inside of the potato (because my stupid glados kit stopped working a week after purchase, boo) but I am sure it wouldn't be hard to do at all since it is just made out of a firm foam.The potato does run a bit small, so if you are looking for something larger this may not be for you. But it definitely looks like a potato, and I had quite a few people fooled into thinking it was one!

It foam... It's lite.... It's shaped like a potato... It's fake.. Unfortunately to small to use with a Portal 2 potados kit.

Got this to use with the 'Portal 2 PotatOS potato battery kit' that I bought for my little brother.And this fake spud is great! I could hardly tell it wasn't the real deal.It looks just like a real potato, but it won't get gross and try to sprout anything if you leave it around for a while. I'm not sure when most people would need a fake potato, but if you're ever in need, look no further.
