This AC unit is not worth buying, especially if you have to pay someone to install it! It’s only 2 years and 4 months old and leaks all over my floor from the ceiling! I had a repair man come out to look at it and he said one of the fans has quit working but he will have to take it off the roof to open it up and look at it to be sure. I may have to buy a whole new unit. Considering it cost $1,000 to buy and install, I am not a happy camper!

I have a $150 window unit from Walmart that works twice as good! Waste of $700

My unit was used and busted. But I have used asa in the past and they work well. They are definitely more of a 450 to 500 price range though. 600 plus is to much for these units.

This was to replace a Dometic Brisk Air II, which worked just long enough for the warranty to expire. It is plug and play. No need to switch out the thermostat or relay box. Remember that the relay box is not part of ac—leave it dangling until you hook the new ac into it—it is part of the thermostat system. This worked with my vented system just fine, but would also work with ventless. The switch-out/install was easy. The tough part is getting it onto the roof. It is much quieter than the Dometic and cools better—much better. The bg unknown is how long it will last. I will certainly revise my review if it does not significantly outlast he Dometic piece of junk. My Dometic fridge was an equal piece of worthlessness—replaced with residential unit.

Model # ACM150B. This is the 2nd Advent Rooftop unit I have purchased over the years. Was very satisfied with the first one I purchased for my previous RV, several years ago. However, this unit lasted a grand total of 21 days. I woke up this morning to the unit running (blower and compressor) but blowing warm air. Not frozen up and no signs of distress. Just no longer cooling. SENDING UNIT BACK FOR A REFUND. VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THIS PURCHASE.

Note weight. It took 3 men to get unit on roof of my 5th wheel. It fit perfectly in existing air vent opening. It has a self seal around the base of the unit so no additional roof sealant necessary. Watch for screws on the bottom of the unit or you will rip your roof! Operating noise similar to my Domanic ac unit.

Have had little over a month, had some drainage issues but removed the rubber grommet over the rear drain now condensation inside the rv has stopped. I am planning on adding another one of these in the next few months. Easy to install on a 09 Keystone Outback Sydney. We had the newer style 08/09 or newer Dometic ac so it was just plug and play. Same 6 wire connection as the dometic relay box.
