Used them as blind nuts inside tubing to attach casters to a counter=weight dolly. Excellent solution, but these Rivet nuts are to stiff to install with a Squeeze type hand tool. Had to go out and purchase a long handled unit (red one shown). Works well, but one still needs to eat his Wheaties for breakfast to crimp the rivets with this tool. Used both 5/16 and 3/8.

a bit awkward to use unless you have sufficient room for the handles to move through. but if you get it in place right, that insert nut holds like crazy and makes attaching items a breeze.
