these heavy duty stands used to strong aluminum and they never rust and much lighter than these heavy steel tubing ones, they paint them black because they will rust otherwise.

Top notch and quality . Very study and larger diameter steel tubing . Easily the best bumper stand for the money . I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone .

These are sturdy stands and easy to assemble. I like these over the lighter rated version. Nothing wrong with the lighter version. I guess it's just a matter of preference.

The 1,000 lb stand is very sturdy. I work on classic car panel that are heavy and wanted a stand that wouldn't shake and move while I'm sanding. I just put the stand together and it is very sturdy. The box it was mailed in was in shreds and a little damage to the foam cover on one, but overall great.

We bought 10 and they work great. We received all 10 and had stored some unopened. Once opened, one was missing the hardware kit. Response from the seller is "Unfortunately this order is over 60 days old. There is no longer anything we can do on it. Thanks Amanda" She is technically correct. It's about 90 days past purchase date and the last date to make a claim was 30 days ago. There is however something they can do about it. They could send a hardware kit. Now that there is no technical obligation, they are done with the customer. I'm done with ATD.

The seller had them to my front door in three days. Assembly took about 5 minutes. They are extremely durable. I bought them to support bedsides off a 1966 Chevy truck for bodywork purposes. I would buy more if I needed more.

This thing is simple and well built. It's sturdy and handy for a number of tasks aside from its intended purpose. I typically use it as a work stand, throwing a sheet of plywood on top. I can do that with sawhorses, but this is quicker and easier. It's also taller than most sawhorses and the height is quicker to adjust. As to whether it can support 1,000 pounds, I'm guessing it could if, and only if, the stand was on level ground, the load was balanced, and the weight was evenly distributed.

I have only used this to work on a hood but it worked just fine. I'm not sure about 1k pounds but 100 was good. I would think about 500lbs would probably be the max but I could be wrong. If I do heavier weight I'll update this. I didn't want to spend the $200 for the other one- this is worth the $61 I paid for it.
