This is basically sheet metal cut into the shapes shown. Pretty thick gauge and with a nice finish. Seems pretty sturdy. I have no issues with the quality. If you know how to use it they are fine enough.I guess I am just not a fan of how opposite side of the flat one that has teeth which kind of poke your hand and can be uncomfortable while using. In theory it is nice to be able to have multiple tools in one, but it just wasn’t for me. I mainly use the flat side, so I went with another brand that I liked better and was thicker metal. That one also had a grip on it, so maybe if this one had a grip then poking my hand wouldn’t be an issue (but it doesn’t and it is).Overall, not bad, just wasn’t for me. Comes from a good brand, so yeah, you can definitely work with it, I just went with another brand name and spent a little more. I will be keeping these though just because it is nice to have so many designs in just 2 cake tools.

My favorite scraping tool ever. I prefer the rectangular one. I like that it's stiff (metal) and not flemsy

I like the sturdiness of the metal vs. plastic. The cost of the set is worth it. When it first arrived one part was missing but it was promptly replaced with another set. Excellent customer service!

Just wish one of the short sides was also smooth makes it hard to smoooth sides cuz combed edge grabs hold of paper.
