I’ve tried several products in the past and none have truly stopped the leaking. But this product has worked. My inflatable hot-tub is still up and going strong 2 months later. I haven’t had to refill with air at all.Edit: it lasted all summer and fall without any leaks. We’ll see how it does when I get it out again this Spring

I recently used the dog pool repair kit for my furry friend's favorite summer hangout, and I'm thrilled with the results. This kit is a lifesaver for anyone whose pup loves a good splash. It's easy to use and incredibly effective at patching up those inevitable punctures. Thanks to this kit, our dog pool is back in action, and our canine companion is over the moon. I appreciate the durability of the repair, and it's certainly extended the life of our beloved pool. A definite must-have for dog owners with water-loving pups! 🐶🏊♂️🛠️

I used this to repair a quarter sized knock out in the bottom of my Intex pool. I noticed it after I started filling it up.The patch material is very thin and had been rolled up, so it is almost impossible to keep it flat when using. holding in your hand it just wants to curl up.I cut a piece of kids jigsaw puzzle mat foam and first glued it down to that to flatten it out and give me something to hold on to. . Then applied about an 1/8” layer of glue to the top side of the patch.I used a clear Tupperware bowl as an air chamber and lowered the bowl into the water while holding the patch inside the bowl so it wouldn’t get wet. When I was down to the bottom I quickly flipped the patch upside down onto the hole in the pool, so it only got wet for a couple seconds. Luckily my hole was under the side of the pool, so I put a heavy rock on top of the foam/patch that I am just going to keep there as extra security. It did work. When I I take it down in the fall I will have to cut around where it stuck to the tarp under the pool and try to glue it more from underneath.

I used this to seal a leak in my air bed, and it is just as described. After about 5 hours the leak was sealed. You have to deflate the bed before you apply the sealer, this makes it easier to stick and faster to dry. The included patch is wide enough to be cut to the right size of the leak, with leftover for more leaks.

As per instructions, applied cement and folded patch into itself. Could not un-stick the patch to apply it. So I can speak to the fact that the cemet holds strong, I guess. This probably works great on the outside of a pool or on an inflatable raft. Tried applying and not folding, but when the patch/cement got wet, it wouldn't stick at all. Waste of time and money.

We have a 15 foot Prism Intex pool (with vinyl liner and metal support) and one of the kids' toys cut a hole about the size of a quarter in the bottom. We decided to drain the pool before we used the patch (though I hear some use it underwater) and it was very easy to apply. I put a lot of adhesive on the back of the patch (cut it about 3" x 3"), applied it over the hole and then painted some adhesive around the edges of the patch after it was adhered. Left it set for an hour or so (this probably wasn't necessary) and then refilled. It's been 2 weeks and the patch has held!Last year, we had another liner that developed a leak and we patched it with flex seal tape, It worked for that summer but when we put it back up the next summer, the tape no longer held. I'll update later this summer and next summer when we set it up again. One thing I wish I had done, would have been to cut the patch a little smaller, so that if needed I could cut a larger one in the future to cover the current patch if it leaks.UPDATE 9-13-20 About a month and half after using the patch and it hasn’t leaked. It turned pink around the edges so you notice it when swimming or looking from the outside but I’m happy with it! We’ll update again next Spring when we open up the pool again.UPDATE 7-5-21 Patch still sealed! We have set up the pool again after rolling up the liner and storing in the garage over the winter. The patch had peeled back a little around the edges. I cleaned with a rag under the edges of the patch, applied some more of the adhesive and smoothed it back down. The middle of the patch seemed to still be sealed. The product now contains pictures on Amazon that recommend cutting the patch in a circular shape. That would have been good to know when I first bought this patch, but I do not believe those instructions were available at that time. Perhaps, had we cut it in a circle, the edges might not have peeled up. Regardless, the patch is still holding. A great product!UPDATE 6/6/23: The patch is still holding, without any further modification. I take the pool down each Fall, store it in the garage and set it back up in the Summer. It's withstood all that for several years now!UPDATE 6/21/24: the patch was still intact after unpacking from the garage again and filling up the pool this Spring. After a month or so, it began coming loose amd we noticed it had begun to slowly leak. I was able to peel the patch off, cut a new one, apply a thick layer of adhesive and apply the new patch underwater. I laid a 15 pound plastic barbell weight on the newly glued patch for about 12 hours and it’s holding firm. Still very please with this patch material!

I used a blue dye very carefully around sites of suspected leaks on the side of an above ground vinyl pool liner. Could not detect anything with the dye. I could see a few linear vertical bubbles in the liner however and if I ran my finger in the area above where the linear bubbles stopped within a couple of inches I could feel what I suspected was a tiny pin hole that I could not even see. I I may have cleaned algae on the side of the pool too vigorously with a brush. I let the pool drain by itself and it stopped at the level a couple of inches above these liner bubbles. I put glue on big strips of the replacement vinyl and held it agaisnt the side smooth it as best I could. in a couple of places where the corner did not stick I put glue on the back of a plastic spoon and rubbed it directly against the liner under water and pressed the hanging flaps agaist. Hard to believe after I refilled pool it no longer leaked after a few years of leaking.
