I purchased this product for a multi-mile backcountry trek in snowy conditions. I was accompanied by several others who had different brands of snowshoes. I was able to install/take off both snow shoes in under a minute all while still standing wearing my 40lb backpack. I trekked across deep snow and on some occasional granite slabs/rocks. Great traction on both surfaces and wear a tear was minimal (plastic had surface scratches). The metal teeth showed no signs of wear or bending. Others in my group had to remove their packs to put on/take off their non-Atlas snowshoes, and their metal teeth were either bent or worn down. Highly recommended.

The binding to keep them secure around your boots won’t stay tight so the snowshoes will come popping off. This is a scary proposition depending on where you are snowshoeing.
