This is a great cot for if someone needs an extra place to sleep at your house, or if you are able to drive up to your camp site. However it is a very heavy and cumbersome item, and is not something you'll be hiking to your site with easily.PROS: it's easy to lay out and fold back up (just make sure the fabric cot portion is tucked properly as it fold up). It comes with a carrying case for the cot section, and the additional mattress rolls up and tucks in itself for easy storage. Both have handles attached for easy carrying. The mattress also has two elastic corner straps at the top corners to help keep it from sliding down the raised head section of the cot. It's very comfortable for me, feels a bit like laying in a tight hammock when laying on just the fabric cot portion, and while the mattress is a little thin, it personally seems to provide a good amount of cushion. The raised head section plus the provided mattress means I didn't really need a pillow, it was comfortable enough as is.The cot seems sturdy and solid, it didn't wobble or seem unstable in anyway while laying it out and climbing onto it. Though it definitely requires a flat surface to make this work. This cot is nice and long, so if you are taller, your feet won't be hanging off the ends like with some shorter cots.CONS: The cot is still very tall/long, and rather heavy when folded up and stored in the carrying case. This is not something you will be hiking to your campsite with comfortably, and is better suited for if you can drive up to your site, or as a pop up bed for guests in your home. The mattress, while not heavy, is still very big/cumbersome when rolled up, and has to be carried separately. So it will take up both shoulders to pack the whole cot and mattress into your site. Making it better for a well established drive up camp site, and not so great for a multiday trail hike or rough camp site.Overall I really like this cot, I had gotten it for hotel stays when they don't have kids beds available, or for when I have an extra guest stay the night. It's comfortable and stores up well. It's just a little too bulky/heavy for what some would want in a camping cot.

This camping cot is really easy to set up or fold back into the included carry drawstring bag within a minute or two if you are timing :). The product page does have good illustrations showing how it's done as well as a little leaflet included in the bag in case you need it for reference. Basically, just pull or stretch it out to set up and pull or fold the ends to pack, very easy and simple to do. The cot itself is not lightweight but not too heavy to carry in the bag with a shoulder strap, very convenient to transport. This bag is not big enough to fit the included mattress in though, I tried a few times squeezing it in but didn't want to risk ripping the mattress. However, the mattress can be rolled up into the back pocket as shown on the product page and easily carried with the shoulder strap as well. The mattress is lightweight, not too thick but still good enough to sleep on. and much better than sleeping on the floor. It does feel a little warm and stuffy at first but on a cooler night, it's so nice to have. You can always throw your favorite bed sheet on as well to make it more comfortable. For the Summer times, I will probably be just using the cot only since the Oxford fabric is quite strong and comfortable enough to sleep on, again, much better than on the floor. As far as the frame, the oval carbon steel tubes are really strong and will not break or bend easily under the recommended weight capacity. It also has extra reinforcement using elastic straps to keep it more stable but I think it's stable enough for me with or without the reinforcement straps, still good to have though. Similarly, the Oxford fabric top also has reinforced stitching to keep it nice and strengthened. This is such a great camping cot to have not just for use outdoors but indoors as well in case you have unexpected guesses over.

This sturdy camping cot is rated for up to 450 lbs. It easily unfolds and snaps out flat into place. There are no bars running under the fabric sleeping surface, so it remains smooth and comfortable. They use really sturdy uprights and straps that reach from side to side to re-inforce the structure. The ‘head’ end of the cot has a slight rise, so even without a pillow it was comfortable. It comes with an instruction sheet, which is good since I can never figure out how to get these things to fold up again and had to read the instructions to figure it out.The cot/base comes stored in a generously sized heavy-duty fabric bag and it’s easy to get it in and out. The mattress arrived vacuum sealed in a heavy plastic bag. It doesn’t have a storage bag, but it rolls up into its own pillow top pouch to form a rolled cushion with a strap long enough to throw it across your back or over a shoulder. The mattress will not fit into the bag with the base.Overall, this is a really good cot, well made, close to the ground and storable. It’s a lot better than the army cots of my youth! I plan to use it for car camping, visitors or an add-on for the porch over the summer.
