The unique formula blends with power steering fluid, increases lubrication and reduces system heat and wear. Most often, power steering noise originates from insufficient lubrication. This can be corrected by adding AT-213 to the system, saving time and money from costly repairs (if the issue persists even with increased lubrication, the component needs to be replaced.)

Rack and pinion steering has problems from time to time. The cold morning grown and stiff and choppy movement. This is due to not flushing the system when the fluid gets really black and grimy looking. Being a retired mechanic I have used this product before with excellent results. Figure out a way to flush your power steering system without making a mess on the driveway. This will most likely involve a funnel and some garden hose and five gallon jug or bucket and some creative thinking. Flush one gallon of inexpensive transmission fluid first followed by a gallon of cheap power steering fluid. Be careful not to let the system run dry till the end and just for a second, enough to empty the system. Then add one bottle ATP AT-213 and fill system to the mark on the dipstick with a good power steering fluid. It may save you the replacement of the steering rack which can be upwards of 300.00 or more in most cases. My wife says her mini van drives like it did when it was new. Hope this helps someone else.

I drive a 2002 Holden Commodore (full size GM, rear wheel drive, cast iron 3.8L V6) so I guess it is pretty heavy on the steering plus its not exactly a new car. The steering pump was making so much noise it was embarrasing to drive . None of the local auto places had anything I liked in a small quantity so I saw this on Amazon and bought two. I replaced some of the pump fluid in the top tank with one bottle and a few days later all was quiet. It works. The other bottle is in the shed in case the noise comes back but many moons later its all good.
