Bought for 1981 C10 with cruise control. Fitment chart said this will fit but it’s too long. I installed it but there was too much of a loop of excess cable which made the speedo read inaccurately. It was about 7 mph too high and the speedo never really dropped to 0. The original is 29” and this is 41”. Excellent quality but had to return it.

This, when used in combination with "ATP Automotive Y-809 Speedometer Cable" gives the correct cable length and works perfectly in my 1975 Chevy Corvette.

Works for the upper speedo cable and tach cable on a 74 corvette c3 without issue.

One end wasn't installed with the screw cap and it was very very short, was supposed to be from transmission to the cruise control box and this 10 in long cable would barley come from the speedometer outta the firewall but the ends wasn't right so i had to go to O'Reilly's and order the right cable....

I ordered all 3 cables listed, before discovering that only this one goes straight from the Speedometer Head to the transmission. Double check which one you need before ordering.

This is the wrong item. I went to corvette website and ordered the correct item. The upper speedo should be 23in. The one recommended on this site was 41" . Not knowing any better I ordered the one on Amazon site and it is about 20inch too long. I confirmed everything. Both items are for Vettes with cruise control.
