Stopped the cold air from leaking into and out of the space. our HVAC runs a lot less saving us money. I recommend it to anyone who has an attic especially if their thermostat is located below the attic door.

Seriously blocked the cold air coming into the ceiling of the hallway around the pull-down attic stairs. Noticeable difference and worth the price. We installed with staple gun around the edge of stairway opening. Easy and quick.

I live in a house that is over 150 years old. I've replaced most of the windows with double paned glass. I've made storm windows to block the drafts in windows I couldn't replace. This was the last piece to try to cut the high cost of heating my old house in frigid NY.I ordered this after searching Amazon.com extensively. These attic stairs insulation kits all seemed to be about the same. I chose one of the less expensive ones. It arrived right on time so my son and I could install it on his day off (I'm 71 and need help with some projects.) It took less than 30 minutes with a staple gun to install this unit. We noticed the difference immediately. I can't tell yet how much this will cut my natural gas bill, but I confident it will turn out to be a good investment.
