I wanted to keep an extra plug in my boat in case I lost the original. This one is well made, fits perfectly, and is easily stored in my small toolbox that I keep in one of the storage compartments.

This isn't your every day use plug, but its a must have to throw a couple in the glovebox or storage bin.Its a bit cheap on the quality, and will rust if you use it frequently, but for the price, why not throw a couple in the bin and have them in case of emergencies or forgotten plugs?I bought three and would definitely buy more if I lose them or run out.

I'm giving it the VERY generous 4 star review only because it is so cheap. It is great if you need a quick, short term solution, but don't expect it to last."Plug features durable rubber construction" - Hilarious! Rubber cracked everywhere. Though is still usable."Handle is brass-plated and includes a chain" - Nope! No chain included. The biggest problem is with the "brass plated" construction. I only used it 3 times (in salt water) and it was otherwise stored in a dry place. The whole thing rusted completely shut and EVERY time toing out it takes 2 pairs of plyers to get the screw turning and operational.Bottom line: Great value for the money, if you don't expect it to last. Maybe even get a bunch and consider them disposable :)
