Really like the size of this mirror. BUT the clamp is horrible as it is a hassle to take on and off the railing. So....I modified it to fit on my gopro tripod mount. Works great now.

I had to change my location because it didn’t swivel left and right, I had to think outside the box to make it work. Other than that the quality was good

I have a ski boat and need to be able to observe the people skiing and tubing behind my boat. This seemed like the perfect device. I have adapted it to my boat and it works perfectly for what I need.But...The mounting bracket is not as universal as one might think. I was able to install it on my windshield easily. But it isn't as secure as I need it to be. I frequently drive the boat over some choppy water. The vibration can cause the mirror to become "unmounted".The standard mount relies purely on friction. The frame of my windshield is very smooth aluminum. So there isn't much friction. I was able to resolve that issue by cutting a piece of extruded aluminum. That aluminum now catches on the edge of the frame of my windshield. It cost me about 10 cents.Otherwise, this is a great mirror. The angle is wide enough that I can watch skiers as the go from side to side. And I no longer have to turn my head to see what they're doing.

This is a great mirror for the price. It would up being the only 'wide view' mirror that properly fit over the windshield frame of my boat. I did add a small piece of nylon belting to snug up the fit but this mirror provides an excellent wide angle view of skiers and tubers.

Use in Pacific Ocean harsh environment. Used rubber mat in between clamp and windshield vertical brace. It stays put, nice to watch stern in following seas

When piloting my boat I often sit down and then stand up. This mirror does not swivel and you can not adjust the mirror without having to unscrew it so it wont work for me. Was not to painful to install and is of good quality, but not being able to swivel is a show stopper

Terrible product. Makes me wonder how somebody can design something like this. Where do I start? The only positive thing is that metal bracket that's very solid. That's about it. Now time for negatives- one of the two tiny screws that supposed to hold the bracket in place snapped in half at the groove for screwdriver make it useless. Went to Lowe's to get pair of real screws. The plastic white pad for the bracket is too soft and not thick enough to hold the bracket in place. I had to make couple of new once. My boat is Fourwinns cuddly cab from 1990, nothing special yet I was not able to find position for the mirror to attach to windshield. The bracket design is terrible and very limited in adjusting for right angle. After playing with for an hour I found somehow decent position on the middle folding window- not ideal location. Took the boat on water and after about 10 min on water mirror fall off. The plastic holder on the mirror cracked and now it's worthless. Returning back to whoever makes this junk.
