I tried the "lever" type 1" plugs, but you can't tighten them enough to seal the 1" hole. Also the large lever looks odd to me once installed. Those also feel a lot more flimsy than these.Very happy with this type of plug. It cranks down tight and has a very small profile once installed.Hope this helps.

You can never have enough drain plugs on a boat. I prefer the twist type more than the ones that you flip up. These cost a little more than at retail stores but I wasn’t in a hurry and had some points. It fit fine and should last a year or so. I replace mine eve try year whether they need it or not

Bought some of these to replace the older plugs on a pedal boat. The old ones worked so these replacements should be the same.

This is a good quality one. I bought one of these for a spare last year and put it into service his year as the OEM part was of low quality and didn’t last. This one is smooth and nice to use. Feels like it’s good quality and like it will last. I bought another for a spare though - in case I drop it in a river of molten lava.
