Worked like a charm. For me the spring inside this switch was broken, so the switch would not rise when the fan vent opened and therefore the fan would not turn on. Replaced the piece with this and it's fixed.

It fits perfect and the fan works great. It does not turn the fan off when the lid is shut. Not sure if the switch is too small or the fan lid is worn out.

This fixed my faulty plunger style switch on my fantastic fan (3 speed with thermostat). I had tried fixing the old one, but the way it’s designed, the spring and contacts were bad on the old one. Simple replacement, just open vent all the way, go on the roof, unscrew it from the top (I think it was a 1/2” nut), unplug connector and reinstall new one in reverse order.

It made my fantastic fan.....fantastic again. Perfect and easy install. I had two to replace. The first one took me 20 minutes because I had to figure out what to unscrew from below on the rv and then head outside to lean over and unscrew the old switch. Then back inside to snap back on the wires. The second one took about 10 minutes. Worth every penny.
