This item was shipped to me on time and arrived in a undamaged container when it was opened it could be plainly seen that the power wire to the bulb had been damaged and the solder connection had come loose from the bulb making it useless I purchased this bulb after it got so much better reviews that any other but it does not do much good to install a bulb the will not light this is very disappointing to say the least.

I've had this TV for years and bought several bulbs from here that didn't last long so hopefully this one does...picture quality good no problems so far will update!!!

Kudos to Mitsubishi for designing this TV so a repairman does not need to be called when the lamp goes out. Our tv was slowly getting dimmer and dimmer. Did not notice it until it looked like all shows were filmed at night. Did a quick search and multiple sites pointed to needing a new lamp for the TV. Sure enough, the tv is now like new.

This was a wonderful purchase. The delivery, was not an issue. The bulb itself, was quite easy to install. Right away, it brought the picture back to life. It seems like a brand new television, making this purchase well worth it. Thank you.

Buy this instead of one of the cheap lamps. My original lamp burned out after only a couple of years, so I replaced it with the AuraBeam lamp you can get here on Amazon. It flickered badly and quit working entirely after only four months. I've been on this lamp for almost a month now and the TV looks as good as it did on day one: no flickering and brighter than the AuraBeam lamp ever was. You get what you pay for.I will say that something odd happened within the first week of this lamp. I'm not sure if it's the fault of the TV or the lamp, but the picture cut out entirely for a few minutes, as if the TV just turned itself off. After a few minutes we turned the TV back on and everything was normal, and has been ever since. I'll keep an eye on it, but everything has still been encouraging.
