Easy install, easy to use, app works great. Never had a problem with either of my EV's.

This works perfect for my level 2 EV charging at home. I deducted one star since I could not get the app to work with bluetooth or wifi where I can schedule my EV charges but besides that, I have no complaints. The electrician I hired installed it effortlessly. I love the in body holster which keeps the port safe and dust and cobweb free. Luckily my circuit breaker is in the garage so the 25 ft cord is a bit long for my needs but it wraps around the body of the charger and out the way. I do recommend this for home EV charging.

installed for a year, so far so good. we decided to wire it up instead of using the plugin because my previous product using a plugin has burned the outlet. It works well and charge way faster than plugin one we had before.

This charger was easy to install and even easier to connect to the app for operation. Far better than the charger I had before. It also charges easily and without any issues.

Very nicely designed product, easy to mount if you have the electrical set up and a panel capable of supporting. I hired my electrician to set up a dedicated line for this and hardwired the 50 amp model, which was the cleanest and safest set up.We have it mounted outside on the side of the house, and it stands up to the elements fine (search You Tube for product review videos on this). I bought the model with the charging adapter integrated with the panel so it’s a little cleaner in terms of mounting. There was also an Amazon coupon deal on it which knocked off a nearly 200 bucks from the price. It was half the price of a Chargepoint charger and much less than the popular Juicebox also.Once set up, it’s super simple to use, plugs right into your EV and works like a charm. To customize and configure, it took only a few minutes to connect to the Autel App via Bluetooth, which works without any issues. Connected to my Wifi subsequent to that and that worked fine via the App as well.My 2020 Hyundai Ioniq EV is limited to ~7.2kw charge and I’m getting about ~5.5kw on this charger at 48amps, so about 26-28 driving miles per hour. It takes about 6.5 hours to fully charge my battery, which is great b/c I can charge the entire battery at night during our off peak times.I highly recommend this charging station!

Absolutely love my new AUTEL 50AMP MAXICHARGER. The design was great, my electrician told me that the setup and install was the best he’s seen yet. His feedback was also that this was the nicest Level 2 charging station he’s ever seen. The unit is solid, and suited for outdoor or indoor mounting as it’s waterproof. This model is designed to be hardwired, it does not come with any plug. You’ll need to consider hiring an electrician to directly plumb it into your breaker box and it’s own dedicated 50 amp breaker switch. The unit it sleek, sexy, and works great. The app that controls it is great, and as digital voltage adjustments do you can dial it up to 50 amps or all the way down to 3. You can also put in your electric pricing so the app can calculate your energy costs. I love that. This model also has a holster built into the unit to hold the plug, which I like. It’s like having my own home gas station haha.I believe AUTEL is a brand on the move and better things are coming from them. Very happy with my purchase!!!

The title that previously belonged to the Chargepoint Home Flex, now belongs to the Autel Maxicharger. Not only is this Autel unit better built with better internal components, as confirmed by my electrician who commented about the quality of the unit's internals compared to all the many other EVSEs in the market that they've installed. Even the passive cooling designed into the unit is commendable - it seems built to last! The icing on the cake is the fact that it has extra connectivity features that set it even further apart compared to other EVSE, like bluetooth, ethernet, and RFID activation. Granted, most people probably don't need such features in their EVSE, but definitely nice to have for some. I have the hardwired built-in holster version and my electrician placed it on a 70A breaker which allowed the maximum 50A charging output and up to 12kW of charging, assuming your EV supports it. My EV only supports up to 48A but this EVSE is still perfect in my book. Autel's software is great too. Downloaded the app, created an account to log-in with (no credit card info needed), paired it to my phone via bluetooth after scanning a QR code and entering a passcode from the quick start manual, and it was good to go! First firmware update completed in less than 10 mins without issues. But what may really set this apart for some people is the fact that compared to the Chargepoint Home flex and Tesla chargers that my neighbors who share nearby parking spaces with me have, my Autel unit is the only one that can actually connect to our lobby wifi router reliably for an internet connection. Neighbor's Tesla charger doesn't connect at all, and other neighbor's Chargepoint loses connection constantly and fails to reconnect for hours. So far, my new Autel has remained continuously connected to the same wifi network for a week now. So that might be a big deal for some who are looking for a smart EVSE that they plan on installing at a more challenging distance from the nearest wireless access point, and for those where wifi is just too far, the Autel has the option of running a long wired ethernet cable for an internet connection.Highly recommend this unit. Cheaper than the Chargepoint and better in every way I can think of.
