Only use on the proper Honda Civic models! Bad reviews are for different models. Works perfect. Took less that 1 minute to install. Very easy! BUT ... DO NOT follow the directions in the picture above. Use the clip tool included to pop the 7 clips off the center console, 3 each side plus one in center. Lift the center console and give a slight tilt. Pull the connector plug from under the "Econ" button. Put the eliminator cable in that plug, it only goes in one way. Plug the other end in the cable removed. Replace the center console and you're done. The auto stop still works if you want it too, just push the button. It is automatically turned off now (instead of automatically turned on) but still will function if for some reason you want it too.

This is not compatible with my Civic Sport model and will not work with vehicles that have the transmission mode change rocker switch directly above the idol on/off button. Description needs to be updated.

Easy to install and works as designed. As many other reviews has mentioned this module only works on 2022-2025 Civic's that does not have the "Drive Mode" switch such as sport modules and some touring. IT WILL NOT WORK WITH THOSE. Took minutes to install, started the car and dash indicated the auto start stop was OFF. I recommend if you have the correct model Civic!

Vehicle Model, 2024 Honda Civic Touring Sedan,I bought from China a 99% the same merchandise. The connection head also 99% similar. Unfortunately, I am unable to install it to my vehicle. The idle stop botton and the drive-mode switch botton they share the same wire harness connect to the vehicle system. I did not check the module because it looks like unable to open and separate. The module wire harness connect head is also totally different than the Idle Stop Shutoff connect head. Base on DO NOT break the car thinking, I stop the installation and give up.However, if you are not Touring or if your botton looks like left side, the picture I attached, only ECO botton not drive-mode switch botton. Maybe you can install this Idle Stop Shutoff but I am not sure.
