This solenoid is obviously inferior. The spade terminal is thin. The return spring is light weight and not sufficiently springy. The plunger is sloppy in the chamber. Worst of all, the fuel flow ports are much smaller than the original. Try another option. OEM is probably best.

bought this because it was the "Amazon Pick" even though it had a marginal review score. It is now out of stock, and return is uncertain. wonder why...it is useless...does not work. I bought another one from a different Amazon supplier and the generator started right up. wasted my time installing and removing a piece of junk. yet another example of low-grade Chinese crap.

Threads too short for 4000 w onan carb. almost pulled threads out of carb. Used old threaded part with new solenoid and internals and it worked.
