A1: You can try it with handheld mode if cats/kitties/dogs not interesting in automatic mode.
Q2: How do I know which mode the toy is running?
A2: The laser cat toy has led lights on the back, which are blue in slow and fast mixed mode, purple in slow mode, and yellow in fast mode.
Q3: How to know it was fully charged?
A3: The back red indicator light will always be on when fully charged; Low voltage red light flashes fast.

The cat laser eye would not move around like it was shown to do.So I reached out to the manufacturer thru their customer service and a new one is being sent to me.Over all it seems simple and so far I am only out my original monetary value.I do not know if they will want the original back or not.Just upsetting that the first one did not work but nice that I am getting one that hopefully will.

Our fur babies love this little toy. It has a suction cup allows it to be mounted on any glass or mirror type surface. It is rechargeable with any C-type charger which is so much better than batteries. The cats have hours of fun chasing the every changing light pattern with this toy. Keeps our bored little kitties busy and entertained. Great exercise value for the money.

One of the main reasons why I purchased this particular laser toy is because it will turn itself back on after a certain amount of time. This is great for them to play during the night, as they don't really care much for static/non-moving toys.It's easy to re-charge and holds a good charge - and they use it all day long.I wasn't able to get the suction cup feature to work, despite having a smooth wall surface, but it still works fine from where I have it up on my fireplace mantel.The multiple options for the speed is also a great feature, and they each have their own color so you can easily see which mode you're on.I'm taking one star away because it doesn't run as long as other laser toys I've owned. You have to go back and turn it on again quite frequently. I realize that would run the battery down, but I'd gladly re-charge it more often if it had a longer play time.

The timer on this works pretty well - runs for 10 minutes every 1.5 hours. Our cats have already learned to anticipate it. Batter lasts about a day and a half, so not great, but not horrendous either. It charges pretty quickly. I'm bummed it's only in a circular motion, but that's my own fault for not reading the description closer. I guess I had assumed that for something that was nearly $18, it would do more than just go in a circle. The direction does randomly change, so that keeps the cats a bit more engaged, but they do usually get bored of it before the 10 minutes are up.I will also point out that it is NOT quiet like the description states. While it's not overly loud, either, you can definitely hear the motor in it once it turns on. If I didn't wear ear plugs to bed, I'm sure I'd hear it at night (and we have it out in the living room).We have a harder time finding a place to set it up because of where the walls are in relation to our furniture, but I'm sure in time we'll find a good spot. The suction cup does seem to do a decent job of holding it to glass. Unfortunately for us, most of our windows have furniture in the way for this application.All in all, an entertaining automatic toy, but not worth what we paid for it.

It's been a year and a half since i purchased this laser toy and wanted to let fellow cat owners know it's still working perfectly and has lasted longer than any laser toy I've purchased. I have the suction cup on closet mirrors and it has NEVER fallen off. And it holds a charge a good long time. Best laser toy I've ever purchased!!!

My cats have had several laser toys, and this has become their favorite. The battery life is great, the different modes give them a bit of variety and I love the automatic aspect. Being able to stick it to difference surfaces is fun, and the suction works well. The laser beam itself is bright and a little wider than most, which I think makes it an easier for them to see. I don’t know, I’m not a cat expert, but they like it regardless and that’s what matters. ;)

My cat loves it! automatic modes work properly and it turns on every 1.5h! Battery lasts quite a while.
