Several months and a cold snap, and 8+ feet of snow later and it’s still working as expected. Made chores a lot easier when we got hit hard with snow for 10 days straight. Was able to worry about shoveling instead of getting chickens in and out of their coops.

I saw someone mentioning that the settings might change automatically, which made me a little worried. But after setting it up and fully charging it via USB, it’s been working flawlessly. It opens and closes right on time, morning and evening, and I haven’t had any problems. Fingers crossed it stays this reliable.

It seemed to work ok at first but when I set it to open and close at a certain time, the internal clock that is has would change after a day and be inaccurate so I changed it to open and close depending on the light and it would change it to a different setting, overall is more of a hassle I would recommend buy a different brand this one is faulty
