I have never utilized automatic fish feeders but have determined to give them a try. For this test, I've selected three feeders for comparison. Each of the feeders performed exactly as described in size and function. I tested the manual feeding option and the timed feature. A little adjustment was required for each to get the correct amount of food to drop but once dialed in they performed well. This particular unit was tested with large round pellets for cichlids. This feeder is for a 220 gallon aquarium and is my second favorite feeder of the three I tested. This model allows you to set the time and up to four feeding times; I feed my fish once per day so only tested this option.Con: The feeding compartment is a little difficult to open for filling. I found a trick to slightly lift up on the end and pull rather than use the 'grip' area to force it open.

Works every time. It's easy to set up. The only thing I would change would be to remove the batteries and change it to a rechargeable system. Other than that, it's great. The batteries last months at a time.

This review is for. Automatic Fish Feeder for Aquarium, 200ML Large Capacity Auto Food Dispenser with Timer Display for Small Tank, Big Aquariums & Pond, at the time of this review is priced $20.59.This Automatic Fish Feeder is a fantastic solution for keeping my fish fed on a schedule, especially when I’m away. The capacity is generous, making it suitable for both small tanks and larger aquariums. The timer display is intuitive and easy to set up, allowing me to customize feeding times and portions to suit my fish's needs. It works consistently, and I haven’t experienced any clogs or issues with the food dispensing. Highly recommend this for anyone looking to simplify their aquarium maintenance!

This is a pretty basic set-up. Not alot of options in terms of frequency of feeding, times, etc., but the settings it does have are sufficient. One thing I really did like about it is you can adjust the number of times the drum turns, thereby putting more food into the tank. We used it on a 125 gal tank with a fairly large tropical fish population and being able to adjust the number of times the drum turned helped make sure the fish were happy. Overall a great design for both larger and small tanks.

I had high hopes for the Automatic Fish Feeder for Aquarium, but it turned out to be a frustrating experience. First, the food door doesn’t stay in place, which means feeding is inconsistent—sometimes it dumps too much food, and other times it doesn’t dispense anything at all. How would you even know unless you set an alarm to monitor it every day? At that point, the entire purpose of having an automatic feeder is defeated. If I have to set an alarm and watch it, I may as well just feed my fish manually. The roller the food comes from works well. The timer works well. I think I'm gonna have to tape the door in place to make it worth my time.To make matters worse, as the wheel turns, it dumps food onto the hood from the back of the feeding lid, creating a mess. After dealing with this unreliable device for almost a month, I found that it will work well with my own modifying (door taped in place). Save your money and look for a better-designed feeder. This one is simply not worth the hassle. I'm sure there are better ones out there.
