This is a must have for when you go on vacation. You don’t have to worry about someone feeding your fish. Finding the right setting for the right amount of food is tricky. Either to much or to little. Regardless this offers a large amount of food capacity for my needs. Great value and function. I recommend this item.

中に入れた熱帯魚や金魚のエサが時間がくるとモーターでぐるっと一周した開口部からエサが落下する仕組みです。時間は１２時間と２４時間の２種類のみの設定です。エサはやや大きめの丸い細粒タイプでないとうまく落下してくれませんので注意が必要です。（フレークや形が丸っこくないものはＮＧ）取説は簡単な英文のみで少々わかりにくいのですが下記の点さえ理解すればシンプルな構造ですので問題なく使えますよ。・時間設定は本体裏側スイッチのとおり１２Ｈと24Ｈのみ・本体前面のつまみでえさがこぼれ出る隙間の幅を調整する。大きく開くといっぺんにたくさん出て水が汚れます。実際に使う前に最小幅設定でご自分でエサやり量は見た方がよいです。・単３電池×２本が要る◆いきなり旅行時に使わず空き水槽かなにかで試した方がいいですよ。戻せばエサも無駄になりません。

12時間/24時間で自動で回転する簡易的な自動給餌機です。作りは値段相応な感じですが、十分使えます。量の調節が排出口の厚さの調整ですので、少量のみ与えたい場合、粒状の餌はいいですが、フレークタイプだと結構ムラが出るかと思います。ただ、シンプルなつくりなので、トラブルは少ないです。押し出し式と違って、排出口は待機時上を向いているので、結露で口が濡れて詰まるということもないのがいいですね。

取り付けも簡単で動作もそれなりに音はしますが安定しています。餌の供給量も調整できるため餌のやり過ぎなども防げるので便利で、コスパも良いのでおすすめです。

When I received this item, I thought I was going to hate it. But, I worked through my issues, (my aquarium lid was in the way of the food dispensing, I figured it out) my fish were ate, they lived, everyone was happy. I've removed the batteries and put it away for the next time I'm away from home. The world is good.

Update: The 24 hour button means it rotates and feeds every 24 hours so I turned it on at noon for a lunch snack for my fishes. I won't use the 12 hour as the days are not that long now so there is no sense feeding when it is dark. I have it sitting on top of my light and it works well and is stable without the clamp. I updated to 3 stars - they should translate the instructions and I want to be able to set the feeding times like my other feeder. But, it is functional.So far I have figured out how to put the batteries in and turn it on. It has a 12 hr and 24 hour setting but I see no display at all. It does have a power port for charging but no power cord. This is an adventure. If I hit the power button the drum rotates but so far I cannot see how to set the automatic part. I guess I will have to turn to Google Translator. Unless you read Chinese I would suggest skipping this feeder in favor of one with instructions in a language you can read! I will update this review if I figure it out. Oh, it does seem more useful for pellet food than flake given how the drum feeder mechanism is set up. Two different size drums so that is nice, you can feed pretty tiny pellets with the smaller drum - if you can figure out the automatic part.

One way or another, this thing will kill your fish. I have a betta and feed him tiny pellets. Going away for the weekend and looking for a reliable device to feed him twice a day, 3-4 pellets. On the lowest setting, this feeder dispenses zero pellets. (I tested this MULTIPLE times.) On the second lowest setting it dumps the whole amount in the feeder. So…either your fish will starve to death or overeat and die that way 🤷♀️ 🤦🏼♀️

Work in the travel industry so it makes my mind at ease while I’m gone the betta fish have food every 12-24 hours til I return home
