The item description lists this is a compatible replacement part for the 2009 toyota camry. This aux port uses a 4 pin connector where the 2009 toyota camry wiring harness uses an 8 pin connector. This component is not compatible.

Needed to replace old aux input. This was easy to install. Just unplugged the old one and plugged in the new one. Panicked a little cause aux mode wouldn’t turn on but realized an aux cable has to be plugged in for aux mode to turn on.

This part is nearly identical to part number 86190-52010. It works/fits perfectly in a 2007 Scion tC with the 4-pin connector. The only difference I see is the word "aux" is rotated 90 degrees. Installation was easy and the sound quality appears to be the same as the original part. I just installed it so I can't offer information regarding quality/longevity.

It works. For 2nd gen Prius, remember to save the outer frame of the original installation. I wish these came in 1/4" audio connection for better durability.

Once it was finally in it worked great, and I've had no problems with it in the first three months or so. The trickiest part of the install on my 2008 4Runner was getting the old auxiliary jack out. It releases from inside the console (on the side of the armrest/storage that faces the front of the car, not inside the armrest), but there's not a lot of room to work inside. I used an angled, L-shaped screwdriver to press the release tabs. Once it released though, the rest of the install was quick and simple. I suggest doing the install when you have time to go slowly and work patiently so you don't break anything. It's not that difficult, but it requires patience. The YouTube videos I found were helpful in getting the center console up to get access to the auxiliary jack, but they weren't much help otherwise. I had to figure out the rest.
