I’m so sick of buying water coolers. I wanted to like this one so badly after reading countless reviews and convincing myself the cost was worth it. It worked okay for the first year and then the cold spout came to a slow drip and finally stopped working. I have taken the thing apart, cleaned every aspect of it, begged for help from customer service and nothing. We dealt with not having cold anymore and just used the room temp spout. Three months later that stopped working too. I understand the average water dispenser now only works a few years but this was not worth the money at all for this type of functionality. Severely disappointed in their customer service and will not ever buy their product again.I’m happy to pay for quality, especially since we can’t drink tap water here, but buying a $400 water cooler every two years is ridiculous. Save your money and buy a $100 Walmart one.

This is one of the nicest looking water dispensers that I have seen. It is well-made with high quality parts. I like the 3 different water Temps that all come out of the same dispenser nozzle. It has plenty of room to fill the tallest bottles/containers. It also has a huge storage space under the dispenser that can accommodate a 5 gallon bottle for your next refill. I was unfortunate enough to get one that did not work exactly right on the hot side, but they have excellent customer service and they quickly resolved my problem. I am very pleased with this company and their customer service. It is a very nice water dispenser.

The product quailty seems proven by many users. I would mention about their great customer service as well. I had a little issue on my Dispenser after 1years 3months usuage. The response of service team about my inquiry was prompt and straight forward. I would say that their customer service doesn't get better than this. I have no doubt on Avalon's high rating in overall customer review. Thanks again for your great product and your customer service. I will keep enjoying your product.

Have had this cooler for 6 months now. Love the clean stainless steel look. Matches our other stainless steel appliances. The cooler has no problem keeping the water cold and hot. Exactly what we needed. Reading other reviews, it looks like some other people had some issues with the cooler leaking from the top. I have had no such issue. No leakes here. The other complaint I saw from other reviews was that the cooler was really loud. From my experience, I really don't notice it. It does make some noise when it cuts in, but you'd have to be sensitive to background noises for it to bother you. I don't even notice it.In summy, it looks sleek (better than any other cooler in this price range) and functions well. Does everything we need it to. It may be a tad louder than other coolers, but it's definitely not a deal breaker. This thing is worth the money.

I had used ReadyRefresh for almost 4 years before they started jacking up their prices on a regular basis. I used to pay $4/ mo, but now it's going to end up being more than $7/ mo. That signaled to me it was time to finally move on and take a chance with a purchased unit.Appearance:- Right off the bat, the rental looks better than this. It was a nice cylinder from top to bottom, the buttons were flush to the unit, and the LEDs were an attractive red and blue circle that surrounded the buttons. On the Avalon A10, then upper part is flat while the bottom is a weird rounded off design. It's neither a cylinder nor rectangle. The buttons are cheap looking and feeling. The LEDs are a really outdated orange, green and red with the former two making no logical sense. The stainless steel color is obvious plastic and the entire unit is a fingerprint magnet.Functionality:Let me start by stating that I'm using this (as I did with the rental) with a Zerowater Refillable Cooler Jug. It probably doesn't make any noticeable difference, but I figure I get that out of the way.+ The buttons are nice and big, and when you press them, water starts pouring immediately. This is in contrast to the rental, where there was a slight delay and you heard the pump revving up. There is no pump sound with this.+ The flow rate on here seems to be slightly better, but nothing to brag about. It fills up a 16oz bottle in 10 seconds.- The button placement may be a problem compared to the buttons on the rental. I can hold my containers up with one hand, but in case I would prefer a second hand, the buttons being located on the top would prevent me from using a second hand. The buttons in the front on the rental would allow me to at least give me the option to stretch to reach it.- The spout harder to find than the rental, since while the rental had a small spout with an opening not much smaller, the A10's spout, for some reason, extends towards the back. In other words, with a small mouthed bottle, you can press it up against the rental and be sure the water will go right in. Whereas the A10, you can only line the front up and hope the hole is within the bottle opening.- Speaking of spouts, I did like having one spout for both hot and cold on the rental. Not only did it make finding it more predictable and easier, but it also allowed to add a splash of the hot or cold to control the temp without having to switch back and forth.+ There is more clearance for water containers on the A10 and the tray is also bigger and more useful.+ The A10's 'cold' is seemingly slightly cooler than the rental. It's still not close to ice cold. And the 'cool' isn't much different than the 'cold' if at all. I was hoping for a room temp option. The hot is 5 degrees hotter than the rental (tested, 158F vs 153F). Again, still not amazing, but workable.+ The A10 is also slightly quieter than the rental. Definitely noticeable, but not as annoying. To be fair though, I didn't notice the noise with the first rental I had. It seems like they switched it with a used and not as 100% functioning as intended unit.Overall, I'm happy I was able to replace the rental with a reasonably priced unit with overall better functionality.

So far water dispenser is working great. Gives room temperature water, cold water, and hot water although it could be a little hotter. Unit is quiet. We will see in 3 months if I have to update this review.

With water issues in our community becoming more frequent, my wife and I wanted to install one of these water coolers going forward. This unit is sleek and looks great, very rugged with quality construction. Easy to replace water containers, the cooling is great and the hot side also warm enough for oatmeal or tea.Shipping was fast, packaging good as well, we are very happy with this dispenser and our decision to go with this brand and model.

I’ve had this water cooler for a little less than a year now and until recently, had zero issues with it (easy setup, easy to use, ice cold water!!). About 2 weeks ago, I noticed the cold water was not cool and actually started becoming hot as the day went on. I contacted customer support for Avalon and received a response from Paul M. in no time. He began to try to troubleshoot the issue with me and had me do a hard reset of the system. While I thought that the hard reset had fixed the problem, the water was back to being warm the next day. I wrote Paul back to let him know and within a few hours, he advised that my warranty was still active and that they were shipping out a new water cooler to me free of charge; the shipment tracking number was notated in the email as well. I ended up receiving a brand new cooler within a few days and it is working perfectly. I don’t recall the last time I had such a positive experience with a company’s customer service department - I’ve already recommended Avalon coolers to friends and family and will continue to do so even more so now that I’ve had such a great experience with their customer service. This is my second cooler. The first one made an annoying noise all day long. We tried to level it up to the floor. We moved it around. We moved the water bottle around and it just would not stop. I called Amazon and they were amazing. They shipped me a replacement. It came two days later. They also helped me with having the first one returned via UPS.The second one is perfect. It’s quiet and the water features work as they should.We purchased a filter bottle attachment where we use faucet water to filter thru the cooler and it works great with that option. The stainless steel with black goes great with my kitchen and fridge.
