I'm giving this a 5-star rating because it is a truly excellent-sounding cymbal. However, if you are a fan of the 80s version of the Zildjian A Series Ping Ride this is not it. I owned a 22" A Series Ping Ride back in the 80s and 90s and the stick definition was much more prominent. There was much less spread/wash than this newer version. With that being said, go play one of the newer models in person to determine if it fits your tastes. It is a very good cymbal.

You cannot beat Zildjian. They make the greatest cymbals in the world! I currently own the 20" Ping Ride. Let me tell you, this cymbal is remarkable! Get it... you will not be disappointed!
