We use these labels on jars of oil based products we make and they work very well. No bleeding or smearing of the text and they stay attached as long as the lid is clean when they are installed.

I'm glad that none of these 2" white labels have begun to peel off - not one little bit! Here's a good idea of how to protect them from peeling as well as protect the ink on these labels: I added a CLEAR glossy 2.5" label pressed ON TOP of these 2" labels (Avery makes the clear ones, too), because being 1/2" wider they nicely protect the 2" ones in case water drips on them, or your hand is wet, or you didn't use permanent-type ink, or you need to wash the 2" ones, etc. Both labels together are ideal for my dozens of jars of herbs & other supplements!

I use these labels to affix color code labels to small jars of fabric dye. I need to photograph these jars frequently and the matte finish eliminates reflection making the labels visible in pictures.Very nice quality, I recommend.

I use a ton of these sized labels for my business, and was purchasing a smaller package, unbeknownst to me that there are other options. Did a little Amazon digging and found this packaging of the same labels I needed, still Avery brand. Many, many more labels; better value for the money. Fits perfectly on a 2 oz. container and looks great on other containers. They're easy to remove and reposition too. Don't bother with other labels--save yourself the heartache and stick with Avery labels. Very pleased.

I bought these to use on bottles of homemade vanilla extract. I chose them because they were water resistant. The template for this label is for Microsoft Word 97-2003, which limited some of the functionality. When I tried to update it to a more current Microsoft Word format the labels didn't line-up properly. The labels turned out nice. I wanted full bleed so my image could go off the label a bit. End result was good.

I opted for the previously purchased and returned "Avery Matte White Round Labels with Sure Feed, 2" Diameter, 300 Matte White Printable Labels'. I got a few cents off but I figured the labels needed a home and It was just for a hobby project. The package was a little rough but the labels were fine. These labels are great for home canning because they go on the disposable lid which means you don't have to scrub old labels off of you jars when you re-use them. You can use them in laser or inkjet printers and Avery offers a free printing template on there website that is compatible with Microsoft word and probably other word processor programs such as Open Office Writer and LibreOffice Writer although I haven't tried those. I have run them through my laser printer multiple times when I didn't need a whole page of labels but I wouldn't try more than 2 or 3 passes. Laser printers have a heater called a fuser that gets hot enough to melt the plastic toner grains on to the paper and running those labels through that extreme heat repeatedly would be not be a good idea. I don't use the feature star ratings so as to maintain my overall rating but adhesion is very good but the glue is not water based, so roll up your sleeves if your going to try to get them back off.
