I was hunting earlier this season next to other blinds that had motion decoys set out. Got tired of watching the ducks all break for those sets over mine. Got this motion decoys and success! Duck flew straight straight past 2 other blinds to get to my set. Maybe was just luck but this was the only change to my setup.Only used it once so durability over time is still an unknown. That said, I had an ice sheet wipeout my entire decoy set including this decoy. It took a full submersion for about 15 min before I could clear the ice and pull it up. Drained a bunch of water but the mechanics still functioned fine and the battery terminals were dry when I got it home. In the ice melee, both wings snapped off, guessing by design. Amazon did not carry the replacement wings so ordered 2 pairs directly from Avian-X (came fast).Highly recommend this decoy. It gets the ducks and can take some water abuse.

Worked great while it lasted. Stopped responding to the remote after about 10 hunts. Tried reprogramming it and still nothing. No the batteries aren't dead

Please please please read the reviews before you buy , the remote does not work , the off on switches are backwards , DONT buy this product, but if you do buy it from Amazon cause if you buy it direct customer service from Avian X sucks, at least Amazon will refund your money, this is what happens when a Biden supporting company enters into a world they have no business in the sport of waterfowl

First of all I will start by saying that the colors are very beautiful and the decoy is the size of a nice fat Mallard Drake, very lifelike. It is pretty hefty but it's so nice, I can overlook the weight. I bought it mostly because of the wings. They are large and will undoubtedly attract some ducks!I'd like to address an ignorant's 1 star review that was made in french. The decoy is different from the images, but for the better. It is an updated model to make the decoy more durable and more water resistant. It no longer has a battery inside the tail compartment. This alone makes it a lot more resistant to rain. Also, the battery inserted in the belly has an o-ring as well as rubber plugs to fill screw holes.Because of these upgrades, I am confident the decoy could survive an accidental dunking in water and come out just fine. The old one? Maybe.He also says that the remote does not work. If he had taken the time to read the manual, he would have seen that you need to pair said remote to the decoy before first use. I did that and it worked just fine. If you're wondering, yes the remote can be paired to multiple decoys.Overall, it definitely looks and feels like a quality product. I encourage you to get one as it is, in my opinion, the top of the line in Mallard motion decoys.

Everything works well. Durable and looks as good as new after one busy season. Legs kinda get in the way but you can carefully place in a normal decoy bag, need a little care to look after them. Long battery life on one charge. Stand is durable. Remote works well, up to 150ft in perfect conditions if you touch it to your temple to amplify the signal, but signal can be obstructed by metal in a blind - even at short ranges. A little expensive for what it is, but you get what you paid for.

I really like the remote control features along with the long battery life. The quality of the overall decoy is much better than the other flying decoy’s that I have.

I love the product and almost all avian x products. The spinner works like ducks magnet and last for hours.The bad side is when you lose a wing. There are no replacement. After contacting them via emails that they never responded to, then being on hold for 42 mins. They offered me 20% off thw product which doesn't make a difference.Great product, bad business plan. So do not lose a wing or break it.

Finally (with no surprise) a quality, highly detailed, and tough spinning winged motion decoy. I highly recommend this product worth the money and ducks haven't flared. I like the sealed electronics, high effectiveness, detail, and overall quality. I bought 2 dropped one wing overboard and haven't been able to find replacement wings yet, I'm sure it will be available soon. The back hatch was a little tricky but not a big deal.

Update: I attempted to contact avian-x for the 3rd and 4th time via email. I attempted to find a replacement lithium battery after the first one appeared to have moisture in the inspection glass. A month or two later they finally got back with me. They responded that they don't have parts in stock for the item and they neglected to give me an estimate on when it'd be available. So that tells me if this waterfowl decoy gets wet, you're out of luck. From now on I'll stick with my MOJO decoys. I could've bought 3 for the price of this borderline useless piece of junk. I guess it'll make a nice paperweight. Never again am I spending the money on an avian x product.When I got it, I was super excited. I took it out once in a less than optimal day and the birds reacted very well to it. It got a little wet and I took it home and dried it off and left it inside the house for a week. The next time I took it out, it ran for a total of 60 minutes and turned itself off. After fooling around with it in the blind I got it to work but it was already almost noon so no point in walking back out there and setting it up. The week after that I took it out again, it worked beautifully from shooting light to about 8:30 and shut off again. I brought it back in the blind and the green indicator light wasn't illuminating that it was even on. I thought maybe the battery pack was bad, so I hooked it up to a charger when I got home. Immediately the light on the battery pack showed green (charged). I emailed avian-x for the second time in a week today. Still no response. Super disappointed they'd charge 200 bucks for a fancy looking decoration. If this isn't fixed soon I'm buying another MOJO and that'll be the last time I waste money on "superior products". Oh and the remote has a range of like 6 yards... maybe. My MOJO remote from 2017 was flawless until the day I took a swim after a cripple.
