I bought this knowing it was not correct for my Generac, but I was trying to rule out a bad regulator, so bought a cheap one. I asked for the pin readout, was messaged a reply would come within 2 days - no reply. Nothing on the Internet either, so assumed the blue wires were where the ac connected. Fried the unit. I ended up hooking up the old Generac regulator, maybe I had the AC wires backwards originally, but it ended up working. Good to see the Generac parts are hardy enough to withstand incorrect hookups without blowing the part. If you have the 4 pin connector you might be ok, but be warned, you get what you pay for.

I was installing in a 7.5 Kohler and it only had 105V after installation. Better than 0v, I guess, but I am thinking that could harm some of my stuff. Somewhere I saw there was a tiny screw the was to be turned clock wise to adjust Voltage. It took several turn to bring the voltage up to 120 / 240. But for the money, if this works for a while, it is a good buy. Wish the adjustment instructions where included. It looks like a good number for these small portable gens might share the same alternator?

Make sure you read description and detail first. Blue is + and yellow is -. After installation, be sure to adjust the voltage regulator. Have your multimeter ready. Work right out of the box. Recommend.

Didn't have enough wires. Also had a stud on keeping it from bolting up. Broke it off installed and it didn't work. Absolutely not a direct replacement.
