If I could leave Zero stars I would! The poor quality of this pump cost me thousands of dollars in related expenses!I ordered this pump a couple weeks before flying to a remote country to install it on a disabled car. I even brought a friend who is a mechanic to do the job. We carefully installed this water pump and four days later it started leaking antifreeze out of the weep hole indicating a bad inner seal. I had to fly another pump in to replace this cheap leaky piece of junk. Replacing this part is about a 3 hour process If your skilled at automotive repairs. Buy a better quality one and install it once.I don't usually feel compelled to write reviews, but the return window was closed by the time I returned to the US carrying the bad pump with me. I felt I had to do something!

2003 Honda Element fit perfect. Worked perfect. Was super good price. If you're going to do it yourself, there's a few bolts that are very difficult to get at. A very difficult. I wish Honda Element would have just moved the engine over like 1 in to the right and if they could have moved it back like 2 in working on the vehicle have been so much more simple. There's three bolts that are very difficult and you got to kind of go through the pulley get them in. I would recommend using a small socket, use a little tape, electrical tape, and kind of lightly tape the bolt on to the socket. Otherwise the bolt is just going to keep falling out. Trying to get it in that tight fit between the engine and the sidewall. A three bolts are easily taken out and put back in from the top but you have to remove power steering pump don't disconnect it. Just take out the two bolts. Take out the pulley the two top bolts are going to be easy but the one underneath is a bit of a pain. Use the smallest socket sizes you have. They're all 12 mm.. basically two socket sizes a 10 mm and a 12 mm. But 90% is a 12 mm. You also have to take out the alternator. My suggestion now replace the pulley tensioner while you're doing this process. If you'd like to replace the starter, that's optional, but definitely also replace the alternator if it's been a long time bite on Amazon. For amateur like me it took me about 3 hours. But remember use the smallest sockets and wrenches. You can as well as taping your bolts on to the socket to hold the bolt on while you're trying to feed it through the tight spot on the side of the engine and into the pulley holes. It would be really simple process if they just again move that engine over like 1 in and moved it back like 2 in. But you got to be difficult right Honda? But it's a really simple and make sure you bleed the radiator right away. And my suggestion would also replace the thermostat right away so you don't have to worry about that later on down the road. Seen that you have everything apart. I pretty much replaced everything but the steering wheel pump on the serpentine belt long as I had everything apart. Good luck but it's a nice pump

I bought this OEM water pump because another pump (a genuine Honda pump) which I had purchased from a different vendor didn’t work for my car. This pump which cost less than half of the other one fit perfectly and works as it should. Delivery was fast and I was very happy to get my car fixed.
