Needed a little welder that runs on 110. This little unit has the power of most bigger ones.

For something smaller than my wife’s purse, I am impressed. Welds up small stuff without issue. I can’t wait to see what it’ll do on 220V

ok first of all, this is *$80* (or whatever it was)coming from a industrial grade machine, OBVIOUSLY this doesn’t compare, BUT it does work, and pretty decently at thatnote that you will need a 20A breaker or high to even arc the machine.after switching to a 30A breaker (oops on my part), i was able to throw some okay beads.one thing to note is that the amp dial is VERY sensitive, ie the difference between 69a and 70a will be noticeable.i’ve found that numbers ending in 9 have worked well for some reason (59, 69, etc)i’ve been running DC- with Hobart 3/32 6013 on this thing for anyone curious.can you stack dimes with it? mmmmm, probably not.can you weld up random ass tools that broke? absolutely.
