A step above the competition
Baader Planetarium has developed a premium grade of solar film called AstroSolar Silver/Gold Film. Unlike other brands, AstroSolar provides a perfectly sharp and energy balanced solar image that blocks unwanted infrared light. AstroSolar Silver/Gold Film is also dual-coated on both sides of the film, making the glasses still safe to use in the event of a small scratch.
Safety Disclaimer
Full safety instructions can be found on the back side of the glasses. Baader Planetarium's AstroSolar Silver/Gold Film is resistant to scratches and damage, but any solar film can become damaged over time. Before using any solar eclipse glasses or solar film with your own eyes, hold the glasses/film between the Sun and a piece of cardboard or dark surface. Allow sunlight to shine through the film onto the cardboard and check for any pinholes or light leaks. If any sunlight reaches the cardboard, discard the glasses/film and do not use. These glasses are not to be used with telescopes, binoculars, spotting scopes, or camera lenses.

I just ordered these yesterday and got them delivered today. I just went outside and looked at the sun, which was kind of neat. Of note, you will not be able to see anything at all, unless you are looking at the sun. They have very good eye protection. I am really happy that they fit perfectly. I am a petite female, but I think they would fit anybody really because they are flexible so the front part can be bent back so the loops go over your ears. I am, nonetheless, going to Tie an elastic strap on the back to put on my five-year-old daughter to ensure that it stays on securely for her to view the eclipse tomorrow. I’m really happy with these. Thank you.
