These fans are a lifesaver for those ladies who have hot flashes. They are small enough to fit inside a small handbag and they work. Well, they are very cheaply made, as expected but they're cheap enough to allow you to order several of them so I order them in bulk. I keep one in each office as well as in my purse. They are quite handy.

Well let me tell you. I am 51 years old and these fans are so awesome. I have hot flashes all the time. In the grocery store, at my son's soccer game, , I have one at my son's house and at my daugther's house. I have one next to my bed and at my in my desk at work. So when I get a flash I always have one handy. They are so pretty everytime I pull one out someone ask "oooo where did you get that from" and I always say Amazon. I love them and I will be ordering more for Christmas Gifts. The different colors are so pretty I always get complements. Thank you Amazon!

These are very pretty floral fans. They open all the way and close, both in a nice smooth manner. The plastic is okay...not very thick, but not completely flimsy. It is an 8 pack, which is great for sharing, or for having them handy in different locations in your home.

These fans are beautiful as far as the designs but they aren't sturdy and they are very cheaply made. The top of the fan isn't stitched and will more than likely start fraying. They are too light. I lost a fan that had a little weight in it and the tip of the fan was stitched to prevent fraying

Okay the fans are a sturdy plastic with beautiful gold embellishment on the sides and they have lace at the top. I ordered these before. I love these fans the others that I ordered I have given away too different people because they loved them. The last one I had was a blue one and my daughter wanted it, however, I didn't tell her that it was my last one. So I ordered another set and this time I'm giving her a choice of what color she wants. The other fans have lasted years. You take care of these fans and they will last you a very long time and they make wonderful, and I mean wonderful, stocking stuffers for little girls or ladies of all ages. And some of my gay male friends wanted some and of course I gave the fan to them because I love them, my gay friends, very much. And a couple of ladies at church also wanted one and of course I gave them one. Well that's how I ended up with one left and I gave it to my daughter. I did not know she like them or even wanted one. So I've ordered more, and I'm quite sure these will go out to other friends along the way. But I've given my daughter first choice of which color she would like to have this time. So if you're looking for a great stocking stuffer or small gifts to go along with that one big gift, these fans are perfect.

Several years ago I bought a pretty Chinese fan from a dollar store. I wanted more but didn't know where to find them since it wasn't something they normally keep stocked. Well.. I didn't realize this when I ordered it, but this is the same type of fan but just a bit different in terms of the color and design.It's made of plastic and it's noisy when you unfold and fold it. It also feels cheap (but that's because it is), its not made of the best materials. There is fabric sticking out on one side of a red fan.Also the gold along the edge looks odd, it has a lot of spider weby strings sticking off of it. I don't think anyone will notice from a distance, and if they do, I doubt they would care.Overall it works, it's pretty, and it's cheap. I'd recommend getting it if you have a small budget amd need some nice fans for am event or something. I could see it breaking if used for a long period of time.I wanted a some inexpensive fans to go with a red hanfu costume for my American-Chinese wedding. I wasn't sure which color, so the variety gives me some options without spending a lot of money. The ones I don't want will make good fans to give away to some family and friends who attend.
