The wood and paint are very questionable, there is no information about the paint used or sealant. Which is why I would not recommend these for small babies/kids who will be interested in putting them in their mouths. Some of the pieces are very small, and could potentially be a choking hazard for children under 3. The instruments are cute and somewhat functional. They are not the best quality in terms of sound and playability. You could find higher quality instruments sold separately for a few more dollars. Overall, they are cute and a hands on way to keep the kiddos entertained, and screen free.

This is an excellent music set for little ones! It is made of high quality wood and comes with a variety of different pieces making it a new an inventive experience every time they use it. It is listed for ages 3+ but my one year old loves anything that makes noise so I decided to give this a (heavily supervised) try and he has been loving it. I especially like that some of the pieces are smaller (like the maracas) so we can easily travel with them. It truly has been so fun watching him figure out how to interact with each component of this (and sometimes using the items to make noise in unconventional ways!). I am so glad we got this now as I know he will grow with it and we will have this set for years to come.

I was very happy with the items. The instruments were smaller than I expected, but were a perfect fit for my 3 year-old grandkids. The older kids like it also.

My baby loves these cute wooden toys. They are perfect for more neutral looking toys. It’s a great deal for the price!
