I got it as my toddler keeps opening cabinets. It’s easy to use and works great. I think it will fit in all types of cabinets. The plastic isn’t super good but works fine. Seems safe for kids and cant be easily opened by them.

As soon as my little one was mobile, he would start getting into cabinets. We put off locking them as long as could, but moved forward with these locks.These are perfect. They’re great quality. They’re easy to use, my toddler doesn’t even try to open them, and they’re very strong.For the cabinets that we use more frequently (think bathroom trash), we leave them slightly loose so we can still throw trash away but the cleaning supplies are still protected.I highly recommend these.

I had to purchase these cabinets to store our pantry items because our toddler was pulling containers of a book shelf we were using to store extra non-perishables and baking ingredients.Once I got these cabinets built and placed the food goods inside, our daughter wanted to play with the cabinet doors, so I found these to child proof the cabinets and they work perfectly!Easy to install and use! You just have to make sure you are locking properly and not putting the lock on backwards.It keeps our daughter from getting into the food and other kitchen items and has not damaged the cabinets when she tries to shake the door a few times.I definitely recommend these for when your toddler is young and putting everything in their mouths.We do not have handles on our kitchen cabinets, so I had to use another child proof item that uses latches that unlock with a magnet to open.If I could I would of had these throughout the house instead, because my husband always misplaces the magnets.

I was looking for a way to cat proof my cabinets so my cat doesn’t get into them without damaging them and this solution works perfectly. Although it’s a bit of hassle to constantly remove the locks when I need to get into my cabinets, it beats getting stressed on my cat wreaking havoc.

The lock itself works as advertised. The locking portion is easy to apply and remove. The only downside is that the plastic feels extremely cheap. I think if my toddler tries hard enough, he could pull the cabinets to the point where the plastic would break, leaving broken plastic debris, which is just as hazardous.

Sin tal cual se describen, funcionan bien pero no son prácticas al menos no para puertas o cajones de uso constante durante el día. Si es para puertas o cajones que la mayor parte del tiempo permanecen cerrados son buenos.

As others have said, lock it the right way. Otherwise they won't work - at all. Also measure your cabinet knows to make sure that they can securely fasten. One dimension you might not think to check is how much clearance underneath the knob head. The lock fits just barely and very snuggly under. This makes for a pretty secure lock but we have to make sure it's on tight. If it's not, it's very easy to slip the lock off even while "locked". Simple lock that works and won't damage cabinets. Worked very well, if we had more knobs we'd use more of these
