Q&A about Using Backdrop Stand
Q: Can this backdrop stand be used outdoors?
A: It is recommended for indoor use.
Q: How to properly open the tripod to make it more stable?
A: It is recommended that the center of the tripod be perpendicular to the ground (please see the correct example in the picture above), and add sandbags filled in time to increase the weight after the frame is raised.
Q: What can be used to fill sandbags?
A: Sandbags can be filled with sand, grit, gravel, pebble, dry soil, beans, little bottle full of water.
Q: Why is my backdrop stand bent down in the middle after hanging the background?
A:1. Since the top pole snaps together in segments with spring pins and wing nuts, there are some tiny gap between them. If all the power is concentrated in the middle, there will be a natural bending because the force point is too concentrated. Balanced loading can reduce this problem. For example: If your backdrop is exactly 3 meters wide, then you need to use 4 bars at this time. If your backdrop is a smaller size, you can adjust the width of the backdrop stand by adjusting the number of bars to make it fit your backdrop better.
2. Decorations should not exceed 10lb, stay within the weight limits to make sure the frame can wrok well.

We needed one of these within less than 24 hours. The one that we had broke and we did not know what to do. I ordered this to take a chance. It said next day delivery and it got to my house right on time. We were hosting our annual father daughter dance for our community, and without a backdrop, we can’t take our pictures but it got here and it was absolutely amazing. Can’t wait to use it again as we are using it for our annual spring fling junior high this weekend. We are pretty busy organization. So having this on hand really is great.

It’s definitely not high end but it does the job. The tubes that connect across the top get bent really easily and had to be bent back out to get them put back together again. The sand bags I didn’t realize come empty and you have to fill them so it was a last minute scramble for that prior to my event I needed it for. Hope to primarily use it indoors after this first event. It tips easily but held up better than I expected with the wind we had.

This served its purpose for what I needed at the time. It's a quick set-up, and easy stand for a lightweight backdrop for photos. However this is not sturdy enough to be used where there is any sort of breeze or to hold up anything of substance.It was a decent inexpensive product. If you need something more solid, pay a bit more.

Ordered because we are always needing something to make a photo booth and it's not always good to use a wall. It was very easy to assemble once you know how it goes together. Take a few minutes and assemble it before you are actually needing it assembled. It also was quick to take down and place back in the bag. Instead of adding sand to the pouches for weight, I purchased ankle weights to just be able to put them onto the bottom of the stand. I thought uncontained sand could get messy. I liked that it came with some of the strips to adhere balloons to. We did have to use zip-ties to put strips on the stand, they were easy to cut off once finished (don't forget scissors if you are off location, and don't zip down so tight that you can't cut when finished). The kids loved this as well as the adults. Added so much more to the festivities. We are already planning a Christmas Photo Both.
