I bought this for thicker plastic. It works if one makes sure the open jaw is over the material before beginning to nibble. My only disappointment was cornering, it cannot rotate 90 degrees and continue. Overall it is a good addition.

I bought mine over 25 years ago, directly from them at a locksmith trade show. The tool I bought is still cutting strong after all these years. I use the tool for repair work on steel doors that have usually been butchered by contractors trying to retrofit locks without a clue. It is also great for notching the 161 preps for grade 1 locksets. Perfect for trimming kick/toe plates. I have seen cheap knock-offs of this tool and know others that have bought the knock-offs and cried about it. If these tools are the same as they made back then they are well worth their weight and every penny spent.

Works really well! I use it to cope (notch, fishmouth) 4130 tubing for aircraft construction and it works like a dream!

Purchased at an aviation trade show. Wanted to cut sheet 4130. Seems to work OK up to .040", but breaks bits in about one inch of cutting of .063". Use ONLY on lighter steel.

Tool is cheaply made! It worked for a brief period of time then failed. Case is extremely cheap, very poor quality (typical Chinese product). Cuttter heads are soft steel so be very gentle or get a real nibbler. Unless you are very light hobbyist who works in very light gauge (26 or thinner) material and likes to OVERPAY, this is NOT the tool for you.

The nibbler works fairly well, but has cheaply made components. The case it comes in is HORRIBLE! (made in china). The wrench it comes with, does not fit the tool.
