These cake carriers are lightweight and the plastic bottom pieces aren't made from very thick plastic. However, they seem to be sturdy. The tops lock securely and the handles do support some weight. I'd probably still support the bottom if I was going to be walking far with a cake in the carrier just to be safe. The cake carriers are easy to wash and they don't take up a lot of room in the cabinet. These are good for someone who brings a lot of baked goods to gatherings of family and friends.

I appreciated that both of these cake containers was made to be translucent so I would be able to tell what was inside without having to take the top off and risk the freshness of what was inside. Additionally, I found that the cake tops clipped well to the base and the latches had a good snap to let me know when they were secured. I also appreciate that there are two handles at the top to give me an extra feel of security when transporting a cake. Additionally, not only could I put a cake in the largest one, but this will also help to protect pies that I enjoy making so much. The base is very sturdy and because of the low profile, I can frost a cake right on the base without having to transfer. Definitely a quality product, great craftmanship, durable plastic, and a super value with two of these toppers. Very pleased with my experience.

These are made of a decent plastic. Easy to use. Perfect for simple cakes, don't expect them to hold tall multi layer cakes. I had hoped they would have been staggered in size so they could nest inside each other but unfortunately they don't. The price was reasonable, worth the money.
