I've used both lamps at the same time in a 300 square foot room so far. I followed the normal safety precautions and took a few additional steps to make me feel more comfortable. First, I placed the lamps on the opposite ends of the room. After I was out of the room with the door shut, I used the remotes to turn them on. I don't have to look at the lamps while they're on, and there's no skin exposure because the remotes let me control the lamps without having to be in the same room. It has 3 timer settings. I used the maximum, which is 60 minutes. I put a timer on my phone to let me know when the 60 minutes were up. I waited another 2 hours before opening the door to go inside. I immediately opened the windows and placed a box fan in front of one of them to blow fresh air in. I left the room and closed the door and came back to shut off the fan after an hour.I used to grow in this room, but I stopped after I got bacterial and mold growth on my substrate at different times. I'm going to begin growing in this room again. Assembling it was easy. There's an assembly video on this product page. I installed the bulbs using clean cloth gloves to keep them clean. It's easy to use and the remotes work well.

Crap they flash on when you plug them in, but after that good luck getting them to turn on at all, You hit the remote to turn it on and all it does is flashe on and right back off. doesn't matter what button you press.

We just moved into a new house where the previous owner (who had both cats and dogs) moved out only 3 months ago. As we've never had pets ourselves, there were unavoidable lingering pet odors in the house that persisted even with constant ventilation. While we previously tried smaller UVC lamps with limited effectiveness, this time we opted for high-powered UVC lamps which exceeded our expectations. The coverage area is super large, and each order includes two units - we placed one upstairs and another in the basement, which perfectly met our needs. Now the entire house feels completely refreshed with clean air, finally giving us that true "new home" atmosphere we desired. We absolutely love it and are extremely grateful!

This light uses UV light and ozone technology to kill mites and bacteria or viruses in a room for sterilization. Do not look at the light or be in the same room! Allow room to stay closed for almost an hour after and ventilate room. I run in our bathrooms and rooms that have odor to help eliminate the bad smells and to disinfectant for germs. Easy to assemble and comes with a remote so you can get out of the room quickly. Comes on after 20 seconds. Stays on for time set with the remote. I didn’t see anyway to turn it on except with the remote. Comes with two in a pack for larger rooms. I can’t see microorganisms, but I can smell a difference. You definitely can smell a distinct smell after it runs and as the air stabilizes. This is a good price for two of these to try them out in your house before buying larger ones. The remote even comes with batteries included. The reason for the 4/5 stars is that one of the UV lights will come back on after 20 seconds even after using the remote to turn it off. It will run for its set time, shut off, and then turn back on again indefinitely. When I use the remote to turn off, it will automatically come on after 20 seconds again. The other UV light works as intended.

This is my review of the BAIMNOCM UV-C Lamp for Dust Mite 38 Watt 2 Pack, UVC Germicidal Lamp with Remote Control, UV Disinfection Light Bulb...for Basement/Bedroom/Kitchen.I ordered this pair of lamps to help with my mold allergy and asthma. My apartment is half an old house on a relatively busy street in my city. It has a damp/wet basement and is dusty. My asthma and allergies have gotten worse since moving here. Dust mites are in most houses and can cause breathing problems for pets and people. The lamps are simple to assemble. They have a bulb that goes in a receptacle, three pieces that snap together, and a protective rubber lamp tube topper. Both have remote controls for on/off and timers for 15, 30, and 60 minutes; batteries are included. Assembly only takes a few minutes. The placement of the lamp can make a big difference in its effectiveness; I thought the cord could have been longer. The box says "Radar Induction," and the instruction sheet shows one remote control with "Radar Induction" on/off buttons and one without; neither remote has them, making me wonder if these lamps have it. Lamps using RADAR, or "Radio Detection And Ranging, " makes no sense to me; I don't understand how it applies to these lamps. The UV-C from these lamps can kill multiple viruses and bacteria, including COVID-19. However, UV-C can also be dangerous if not used correctly. The two lamps use different wavelengths of UV-C light. Shorter-wave UV-C produces ozone. This product has sufficient UV-C warnings on the box and package inserts; please read them carefully and follow the instructions. This is not a party light or a light for detecting pet urine.Ozone is a strong oxidant that can help with more complete sterilization when used in a sealed room. However, it can be dangerous, so please heed the warnings. I tested this lamp in my bathroom with the door shut and could smell the ozone when I entered the room to open the window. I plan to use the ozone lamp more when the weather is a little warmer to adequately ventilate rooms after running it.When used carefully and according to the instructions, these lamps can be valuable for living a healthier lifestyle. These reasonably priced lamps are worth considering.
