Like others, I purchased when my sleep apnea became positional, only when I sleep on my back. I've tried other supposed solutions without luck. This was close. The block is firmer than the blow-up variety. Horizontal is better than vertial. Having a strap is better than clipping something on your shirt. And this was far less money. However, when I attempted to wear it just below my chest, it didn't always stay in place and allowed me to roll close to flat (may 3/4).

I got this not because I snore, but because I needed to sleep on my side. I tend to roll over on to my belly while sleeping, which is bad for my back. Sleeping on my is fine, though.I thought if this keeps people from rolling on to their backs, may if I strapped it with the pillow against my stomach, it would keep me from rolling on to my stomach. It did!!!I then tested it to see if it would also prevent me from being able to roll on to my back. That test was done while I was awake. I was unable to roll on to my back. Will that keep a person from snoring? I don't know. But it does do what it is designed to do - keep a person from lying on the side the pillow is on.The pillow was as comfortable as a pillow preventing the body from going where the body wants to go can be. The pillow is plenty firm and very easy to use.If you are looking for something to keep you from rolling either on your belly or your back, I recommend this pillow.

This barely fits around my waist with Velcro and having a giant block on your back doesn't help stay on my side. I was actually able to roll over on it as well. I get the thought process and as simplistic as it is, it's just not for me.

I've actually ordered several different products designed to keep me off my back. This is the single item I'm keeping. The picture shows it worn around the waist - I strap it around just under my armpits. It stays in place and I never turn on my back with this on. If I'm awake enough and want to change to the other side, I need to sit up and turn that way. It's very easy to remove for a nighttime bathroom trip, and then don again when returning to bed. There are strange zippers on each side to separate the belt portion from the pillow, but the pillow is fully encased in it's covering. Preferable to have a zipper in the pillow casing, because the way it is, there is no way to wash that casing. That's the reason for the 4-star rating. Basically this is a product which serve it's purpose.

I am trying to develop the habit of sleeping on my side, which is one of the ways of discouraging Obstructive Sleep Apnea. This device is a little bulky, and can be a little hard to position correctly and keep in place during the night; however, it did remind me not to roll onto my back absent-mindedly, and thus diminished my snoring.

I bought this for my husband mostly because of a sleep study that showed sleep apnea only when he was sleeping on his back. This keeps him on his side and as an added bonus, no more snoring! He’s sleeping 6-7 hours now at night now, which is a big improvement.

If you have a belly, these won’t fit. I’m not in the best shape… Dad bod… and these won’t reach around my belly or chest area. It fits my petite, slim wife, but she has no need for this.
