Andirons can be used in place of a fireplace grate or other log holder. Hand-forged from wrought iron, the Ball End Andirons are made in the traditional technique, from square stock with a twist and forged ball end. Wonderful andirons. Well made, simple and very attractive.We have a double sided fireplace and these are the perfect andirons for the back side we are able to load the logs against the tall andirons and not worry about the logs falling off the backside. This would work well in a traditional fireplace too, because it would allow air circulation around the fire for better combustion and heat.

Product survived torn packaging without a scratch, and they look nice in our fireplace. Have not burned a fire yet. Just what we were looking for: simple and nice looking.

This worked great for our very shallow fireplace. Paired with the existing wrought iron grate, logs now stay put. Nice price.

These andirons were exactly what I was looking for. They fit perfectly in my camp fireplace and provided space in between for the fire to breathe. I highly recommend theses for a great burning fireplace!

They're a little hard to work with because the front is so tall, but I like the sturdiness and the long area for holding wood
