The ball head was delivered promptly. It seems fairly robust although I would have preferred a 3/8" screw mount instead of the 1/4" screw to use my L bracket.

I bought it (along with a Vaster smartphone adapter) to take videos of the gutters using my iPhone, so I can see if the gutters need cleaning and/or the gutter cleaner did a good job. It works great!

Not buttery smooth action, but did exactly what I needed in an industrial setting to get imagery from a safe position. Ball retaining knob can come unscrewed in transport, leading to the head separating in two. Found the knob, all is well. Just tighten it slightly to make sure it doesn't rattle loose.
