This weighted blanket is dreamy, literally. Not too big, not too small, not too heavy and not too light. I even found the corner loops to attach to the duvet cover. They’re discrete, and tight, which makes them more effective and durable.

We bought this for our son after his Occupational Therapist suggested it, and it’s made a huge difference. Every time I ask him if he likes his “other blanket” he says, “I do!” After getting in bed he gets calm much faster, generally falls asleep faster, and seems less restless throughout the night. Not everyone responds the same way to weighted blankets, but it’s made a big difference for us. He loves it. (If you’re considering purchasing this for a child, I definitely recommend checking with their pediatrician first!)

Fantastic blanketThis weighted blanket is worth the price. It’s made from all-natural cotton which is incredibly soft, not at all scratchy or synthetic – definitely a step up from cheap synthetic fabrics or cheaply-manufactured cotton or cotton blends.For kids with sensory processing issues who are very sensitive to the feel of fabric, this is incredibly important so I’m willing to splurge for a higher-end product. (Sometimes even organic cotton can feel scratchy but this blanket is wonderfully smooth.)The plant-dyed color is absolutely gorgeous; the digital image doesn’t do it justice – it’s a deeper, richer blue than it appears in the image. The blanket is machine washable and I washed it before using it in a stacked top-loading machine with no issues. It’s luxuriously cooling and neither too light nor suffocating. Perfect weighted blanket!

Definitely giving this weighted blanket 5 stars. I love that it's natural. It's a very soft, pretty color, and it feels high quality. My daughter has stayed in bed all night since we got it, so it seems to be working! I will definitely be buying another for my son. Highly recommended!

This weighted blanket by Baloo is really great for kids and honestly I am loving the fact that it was dyed with something natural! (Indigo (Indigo), mahogany leaves (Peach), and bamboo & clover (Aqua))Machine Washable and tumble dry low - but don't mix with other colors and toss in a color grabber!Price - High - but if you take care of this blanket it should last for years and the fact that it is a washable weighted blanket makes that price fair!Beautiful color!9 pounds40x60 inches!So this is really for kids who weigh 50 pounds or more - but my kids are just under that weight and they use it, but only on the lower half of their body - hips down - because they both say their legs feel like moving when they are trying to go to sleep and this blanket has helped them to sleep better.

There is no mistaking that this is a nice weighted blanked. . . but. . . at the current price of 149 bucks for a Made in China item. . it’s super-over-the-top-crazy-expensive. On top of this, it does not have a duvet / cover. . .and it certainly should, for this price. You can find very similar weighted blankets for much less than half the price of this one.Though it’s machine washable. . . it’s not that easy. I have a front-load washer, so it tumbles. I don’t think it would fair so well in a top-load washer. I think it would just sink and sit on the bottom.When you place it in the dryer, it goes kerplunk. . . kerplunk. . . kerplunk. I added a cotton bath towel to help, but it doesn’t really tumble. .. it just stays in a “wad” and goes around.Again. . . It would have been MUCH better to include a duvet / cover. But as it is, you’ll have to purchase one separately, if you can find one the right size. On top of these, there are no loops in the corners of this weighted blanket to attach a duvet.

I have been interested in a weighted blanket for awhile, and every time I’ve looked into it, Baloo kept coming up as the best (I especially trust the NYT’s wirecutter reviews.) When I saw their new kid’s blankets, I decided to go for it! My daughter is still a little young, but I loved the pink color, which perfectly matched the upholstery in my reading nook. I figured I could use it until my daughter gets a little bigger.The blanket arrived in beautiful packaging and I have slept with it every night since. It’s amazing!! I absolutely love the weight, and have been shocked that it’s not too hot to sleep with (even on warm nights without AC). I know it’s made for kids, but it actually fits me really well. I included a picture of it on my king size bed for sizing reference. I keep the blanket in my reading nook during the day and use it there too, but have loved sleeping with it at night! After a long day, it’s just really, really comforting. I’ll probably have to buy a second one when my daughter is ready for it because I’m not sure I’ll be ready to part with it!

My son is in sleep heaven! He’s been wanting a blanket for so long and was the only one in the family who didn’t have one because he’s a little guy. So grateful they now have these in kids sizes and the color is absolutely gorgeous. It’s so beautifully crafted and just as well made as the other sizes we have. A must for any child!
