Nice chalk holder but I'm going back to my stick in the pocket holder. I am constantly knocking this thing out of my pocket (the whole thing). The magnet is super strong though.

I tested the attachment of the chalk holder to the pocket clip part and after a few shakes and twists the chalk still stuck to it.

I love the color and quality of the product and the chalk holder holds standard chalk perfectly.

Magnet not strong enough, screws that hold chalk in can crack the chalk not impressed 👎

Does what I expected, but does it very well. Chalk is held securely in the holder with a small Allen nut. The magnet that connect the holder to the clip is very strong, it takes a decent bump to dislodge it. This was a good value.

It’s fantastic. I hate putting my chalk in my pocket, and where I am the etiquette is to not leave you chalk on the table, plus you can mix up who’s chalk is which if two players have the same brand. So this is perfect. I put it behind on my belt so it doesn’t get in the way of my stroke. Don’t need to look down, just reach for it, chalk and put it back. When I got it I went into my toolbox to get a hex driver for the two small set screws to hold the chalk in place. Only later I noticed they even included the hex thingy to adjust, built right in!But now, the thing that would to me make it a 6… after a while the chalk got a little loose. I used the included hex thingy to screw into the chalk and screwed too tightly and it cracked the chalk through the middle. No big deal, still works, but IF they had out a thin piece of metal on the inside to distribute the force of the hex screws it wouldn’t dig into the side of the chalk. I’m going to try to make something to do that. Otherwise it’s perfect. I’d still recommend it but would buy another one if the manufacturers added that feature.Edit to add after: after using it a while, that set screw thing is a problem. The screws back out some with repeated shocks. What I mean the main magnet is on your belt. Take off the Chaco, chalk the cure, when you put it back it hits somewhat hard. After a time the set screws start backing out. I might try loctite on it, but again, definitely need a very thin curved plate to put even pressure on it.Also you can’t sit back in high stools while waiting for your chance to shoot again. No big deal but if you wear it behind (can’t wear it on the right side because it would get in the way of your cue stroke, left side is dumb for right handed folk, front isn’t convenient either, so it’s back on the belt. So I just remember to sit up front on the stools. Also to add, I am planning on cutting an aluminum soda can, because it is so thin, and shaping it to relieve the pressure from the set screws. It’s very weird, I bought this a few weeks ago, and now when I went here to update my review, it says it can’t be supplied to Norway where I live.Another update: ok, so cut a strip out of a beer can. Made sure it went almost around the inside of the chalk holder, it is definitely thin enough to not cause problems with the chalk, it now fits snugly and the two set screws push on the chalk to keep it in instead of cutting into it. So that is the solution that works. But please, to the makers of this, you did such a great job with design, and really made a great product with one easily rectified flaw (to be fair, so far all other manufacturers of this type of chalk holder seem not to have done any better) and you could really corner the market by pointing out yours is the only one that is solid and won’t cut into the chalk but will hold it! Please just make that one minor adjustment.
