Used this for the holding tank on my spring for house/garden water. That was last fall and here in midsummer it hasn't leaked a drop.

Replaced the old fitting on my well tank with this one a few years back as it had the thread configuration I wanted. Has been rock solid and have had no issues with it.

Quality Banjo name brand, American made. Can not go wrong with this. Paid about $20 USD. Try to get the same one at a plumbing wholesaler, and you'll pay about $120. It's a no-brainer.

So, from my limited knowledge of these things, you want the kind that screw in counter-clockwise--otherwise you need a wrench to hold the nut and it is a huge pain. This piece turns the correct way, making sure it has an awesome, tight fit.The plastic itself seems durable, and I like the way the seal fit.One beef I always have with any of these things I have to order...They only ever have one seal. Tell me, why would you only have one seal for something that is sealing in/out water on two sides? Obviously, this product should have two seals. Still, this thing gets all stars cause it worked nicely and turned the right way.

Installed 2 of these products on my 55 gallon rain barrels, have not used them yet. Just ordered another 3 today plus 2 of the 3/4". Excellent quality and durable. I just found out that one of my old rain barrels that I bought pre installed a few years ago has these same brand bulk head fittings by Banjo and are still working well and no leaks. I ordered these products form Amazon.com instead of Amazon.ca because this brand is not available with the Canadian co.There's more selection with Amazon.com. These products are also hard to find in big box hardware stores like Home Depot or Lowes where I live. Come on Amazon.ca, get better selections like Amazon.com! The only drawback, I don't qualify for the free shipping.

Worked perfect after I received the right one. You will need a 3" hole saw for this.

This connector was an important component in making a quality connection for a Rain Barrel Overflow Hose. I traced the inside of the washer of the disassembled Bulkhead Connector onto the plastic barrel with a marker and carefully cut the hole with a saber saw. I used a wood rasp to open up the hole a little bit because my saw cut wasn't perfect. Once the hole was in the barrel (near the top since it was for overflow), the rest was a snap. Putting the Bulkhead Connector in place only took a minute or two once the hole size was proper. This is the second Bulkhead Connector that I have used for Rain Barrels. This one worked great, and the price was right so I would recommend this supplier to anyone.
