I bought this battery for a backup battery on my Baofeng UV-82HP radio. It fits very nicely and lasts just as long as the original battery. I have since bought another one because our tornado season is on the way and I do not want to get caught with a dead battery.

Perfect fit in my UV82-HP. Good useful item with long "on" time before needing recharge. Don't leave home without a spare battery pack

Form Fit and Function were as expected. Works Great in my newish Pofung labeled UV-82. When the charge cycle is complete the factory Pofung charger light goes to steady green. Unlike the one the radio came with.The battery was labeled as Bao Feng, and 2800 mAH.

Doesn't quite fit the UV-82 properly. Was able to get it to latch after fiddling with it. It works ok. there are better batteries at the same price point. I don't recommend it

UV-82 battery works fine but they really need to find a fix for the loose clips that connect the battery to the radio on the top/sides. I had to return the first battery since one side would not even firmly connect. With this second battery they do firmly connect, but they rattle like crazy. They are loose or something. The battery is secure but it's really annoying to constantly hear that rattling when moving the radio at all. For now I just used some electrical tape to stop the rattling. If they could solve that rattling/noisy clip connectors issue this would be five stars.

Have been using the replacement battery for my Baofeng UV-82 for several months now and have not seen any drop off in charging or discharging time. The only negative I have is a small one. The battery doesn't seem to lock smoothly into or release from the radio without a little more force than I would expect. I think this may be as much to do with the radio as the battery since the original battery fits the same way. Once the battery clicks in it stays. These replacement batteries are a bargain compared to other radio manufacturers replacement batteries.

Does not fit the radio very well. Difficult to install and remove.I thought shipping was free, but I received an invoice from UPS for $20.51, even though it was deserved by Canada Post..
